Standard mini plug cord, offset plug ends, which is Ideal for buddy box application. Does not work with RadioMaster factory trainer sockets. I added a standard female mini phone jack onto lower right corner rear Transmitter case, and used #4 and #2 terminals on factory socket. This works 100% with Spectrum as a buddy box. Suggest buyinga TX12 and adding standard socket as buddy box. See radiomaster trainer socket pin out diagram. #4=shield. #2=plug tip.

Already saved me a few body bags full of broken planes. Walk up to instructor. Hand him his end of the cord. He plugs in. You do fine until you head for a tree. He saves you. Repeat until you finally learn to stay away from trees. Simple. Effective. Works.

New in raper as described. Shipping was fast and easy, just went to the mail box and there it was. When learning to fly R/C airplanes it is nice to have this cord so you can be plugged into another control box with a trained and experienced friend who can make sure you don't crash your plane while learning to fly. With this cord, if there is a mistake the connected control helper can assist you.

I have crashed way too many times trying to learn the nuances of RC flying until I got this Spektrum Training Cord! This has allowed me to get into the air to fly and to be bailed out by a more experienced co-pilot when things started going south, literally!Increasing your flying time is the only way to learn how to fly and with this and a trainer you cannot help to get more stick time in turn learning the feel of your controls and your plane.I highly recommend this product! Get it earlier and save yourself in costly RC repairs, because it practically pays for its self!

I purchased this to help a neighbor learn how to fly. Spectrum is not the easiest to setup. The cord is perfect. The issue is the tx. Both tx must be setup exactly the same, with all settings including trim otherwise as you tradeoff between transmitters, the settings/trip will be way off resulting in a crash.
