The pieces nest together well. The acrylic should be durable enough to hold up well, provided your bearing on your bit spins freely and doesn't overheat.The charcuterie board will look great in this design with contrasting wood colors.

This is a 2 piece set of HIGH END acrylic that is used with a flush trim bit and a router to create a shape for cutting boards you can essentially replicate endlessly. The only problem was removing the paper backing on both sides, but once you get a grip, actually, on it the removal process is oddly satisfying, revealing a SPOTLESS acrylic as clear as glass. As long as you take your time adjusting your flush trim bits and make sure your depth gauge is correct, you can use this thing for years. Even if you happen to cut into it, it's still acrylic so just adjust the design and there you go, you have a new template. These are quality templates, with good thickness. They come wrapped to protect, but the stickers are easily removed. That leaves them completely clear for working with whatever wood and project. The matching pieces can be used separately for independent cutting boards, or as a set that nest into each other. You could also make a single larger board, though it would require adding a filler piece to complete the now joined top section (or some free-hand work). That would be the one improvement I would make to this product. They could include an acrylic filler piece that could be added between the two to make the one large board template.

Be a novice or a pro woodworker, these will likely make you easy money at local markets. Thick enough to be an easy reliable gauge for the router bearing to rid against without being overly thick and heavy. I prefer the blue tape/ca glue trick to ensure I don't build up adhesive from double sided tape on templates like this.
