Great for a kids first lock on a bike but I wouldn't rely on this lock for long term use. Eventually it does become very easy to pull apart, and the length is only good for one time wrap around to secure.

This bike lock is very short - the good news is i actually bought it for my son to use on his scooter so with it being shorter, it actually will work better. I like the fact that it's super easy to change the code. My son can pick a code he'll remember. The lock probably isn't a great high security lock, and likely wouldn't last very long when exposed to weather but for the purpose i need - it actually works amazing. My son has an electric scooter, and he loves to ride it to the park. he's never FAR from it, but electric scooters are a high theft item in our area, and this simple lock will slow down someone enough to make them chose a different victim.overall - yes I'm sure there are better bike locks out there, but for pricing and functionality - this is a great choice for a scooter bike lock.

I recently tried out the Sportneer Cable Lock: 4 Digit Resettable Combination High Security Bike Lock, and it's working very well for securing my snowboard. The lock feels sturdy and reliable, providing a good level of security. The 4-digit resettable combination is easy to set up and use, eliminating the need to carry around a key. The cable is long enough to secure my snowboard to various fixed objects, and the flexible design makes it easy to maneuver. Overall, I'm really happy with this lock and feel confident that my snowboard is safe when I'm not around.

Depending on what you need, I think this is likely a good fit for you. For my tastes, it *feels* like it could be cut by a reasonably heavy duty set of cutters. Whilst I haven't tested this, (as it would destroy my new cable), I suspect it's not sufficient to leave an expensive bike in a busy city.However, I was looking to secure my son's bike, near his school, and I feel that this is more than adequate for that purpose.
