Received my new spotting scope, and immediately I noticed the tripod, although more substantial than some I've seen was in my opinion, on a scale of 1 to 10 at best a 5. I immediately order another tripod here on Amazon and upon receiving it I was incredibly pleased as it sits on the shooting stand solid.Now back to the spotting scope, it is perfect for my fun at the range. Great clarity, adjust-ability is easy and perfect and I can easily see a 5:56x45 hole in the paper at 100 yards.An incredibly good scope for this price point.

Years ago I had a spotting scope that I paid $250-299 for and this scope for $35 is just as good. It comes with a nice tripod and case. The phone attachment is kinda cheap

This would be 3 stars but for the current net price which I think makes it a deal. A lot depends on what you need it for. At 50 yards, when compared to a decent pair of binocs at the same price point, the optics are not quite as clear and popping. But the resultant view is fine if you set your expectations. Find your target (in my case an actual target) with the adjustable eyepiece then adjust the focus with the larger adjustment wheel in the scope body. Then readjust with the eyepiece to your desired magnification (20 thru 60). With the naked eye at 100 to 150 feet in a test, I couldn’t make out a vehicle registration number down my street or in fact that it WAS a number. With the scope, I could not only see the number clearly but could read the larger digits from the tiny registration stickers (month/year). So I’m happy with this scope from that regard. The tripod is a rather cheap affair but functional and the phone adapter works as advertised. And the fact that you get those 3 features for your outlay, makes it good value, again as long as quality expectations are realistic. The scope itself comes in a reinforced fabric (?) case, it along with the accessories all packed in a sturdy box. I was disappointed in the case itself because it took away any wow factor prior to the scope reveal. I don’t know how it happened after packing but the case was very heavily creased, actually it looked like it had been screwed up in a tight ball for a week and then used to pack the scope. Not a good look either at the unboxing stage or even (especially) for carrying. The case does have a short strap for shoulder carry or a loop for belt carry.All in all a scope which is functional and will do its job at the price point, assuming your expectations are not of images in the hundreds of dollars range.I hope you find this helpful 👇

Took it to ONE range day and it didn't last the whole day. It was working great, VERY happy with it.. then, I went to look at my target downrange and all I see is black... fiddled with it and nothing... POS!!! NOT HAPPY!!! I guess sitting on the bench at the range with the recoil must've knocked one of the lenses loose inside it? IDK? Either way, it's JUNK. It sucks too because I was REALLY impressed until it BROKE.
