I run a hydraulic crane and therefore keeping the wire rope lubed is vital. This is really good stuff. Honestly tho, it's expensive, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It does exactly what it's supposed to tho, and it is very thick foam so it does stick to vertical lines exceptionally well. If you don't have a need for your lube to stick really good tho, I'd probably shop around for a cheaper alternative. But until I find something that comes out as a foam and sticks as good as this stuff does, and comes in a large aresol can, I will continue paying the price for this stuff.

Like how it starts out as foam so it stays in place even on vertical cable runs and then it starts thinning out and flowing into the cable. After about 4 months I was already beginning to see surface rust on the cable so not overly impressed about that, Especially since I'm using it on a boat lift cable on a fresh water lake.
