Absolutely lousy. NOTHING like the ones I bought years ago for my motorhome from Camping World. The plastic ends are so hard the one end unscrews from the wall while you are trying to set the other end. I am currently trying to "rubberize" the end caps by coating them with a thin layer of E-6000. Great, huh? NOT!!!

These have great tension and adjustability, and work perfectly for our application. We have a cupboard in our RV that needed and extra shelf, so I bought this three-pack to accommodate that. I set up the three tension rods at the same height in the cupboard, cut a shelf-board to size and installed it sitting on top of these rods. In order to keep the shelf from moving, two small holes were drilled that allowed me to use a zip-tie through the shelf, around one of the rods and back through the other hole in the shelf. The shelf didn't move during our most recent trip, so the issue has been resolved.I realize this is a very unorthodox use of these tension rods, but thinking outside the box helped me solve a problem and keep my wife happy in our RV kitchen.
