If you need a seat post for your boat, don't buy from the dealer. These are about $150 at the boat dealer and basically they all work the same. Buy for half the price and use the money savings for gas for your boat.

The product itself is very well made but my only complaint is it claims to be a 13" pedestal and the pedestal is only 11". I have another springfield pedestal that's marked 13" on the package and it measures 13".

I replaced my broken seat post. This seat post worked perfect for my boat. It plugs into the base and removes from the base easily.
