This looks to be very good quality for the price, But, two things a buyer should know. Setting the time and programming are difficult and not intuitive, but not impossible. Also, it restricts the flow, especially if you have lower water pressure.

This simple to operate timer has proven to useful and dependable. It simply screws onto the water spigot at my house, the the hose is attached.I only had to add a couple of AAA batteries and is ready to go in just a couple of minutes. There are two washers included. One has a screen to trap debris if needed. Both the washers are on the inlet side, so be sure to remove one before screwing onto the spigot and use the other one for the hose connection.The programming is very simple to operate as the instructions are right on the unit, and it has turned on and off through several cycles now without any problems. There is also a manual setting for immediate use, and a rain hold function. Just about everything a sprinkling system timer would offer.This timer does everything it's supposed to and has been reliable. It seems to be made sturdy to last a while. The price point is reasonable. 5 stars.

This is a reorder for me. Saves much time in caring for my plants. Allows me to go on vacation without worrying! I use it for irrigation rather than cooling. I add a timer and standing fan to my system, it works great!

I use this programmable sprinkler system for one summer, and it worked well. I'm leaving only four stars because I do not trust Amazon products in the long run I'll update as time goes on

This garden timer is such a help during the growing season! Set up is so easy and programming the days and use time took less than five minutes.The seals seam to work well and I didn’t see any leaking. We used it in our garden on our soaker hoses during a good chunk of the season and we found that it functioned as expected. It's a great price and if we ever need to get another one, we’ll look out for this brand and style.

Setup was easy and intuitive, but water just poured out of the fitting. I tried re-fititng the washers, moving them around, even teflon taping my faucet but still leaked really bad. Not usable like this and I will be returning.

It allows for watering schedules from 1 minute to nearly 8 hours and you can select the days you want it to run. The manual watering mode is handy for extra watering without disrupting my routine. It’s easy to set up with its rotary dial and LCD screen.
