About this item

  • Four Station Battery Operated Controller
  • Bluetooth control from up to 50' away (line-of-sight)
  • Mounts to Hunter solenoids, pipes, flat surfaces, or inside the valve box
  • 3 Programs with 8 start times each and 1 second to 12-hour run times
  • Add soil moisture sensor for compliance with LEED projects and agricultural applications

Avoid the valve box with the battery-operated NODE-BT controller! NODE-BT is enabled with powerful wireless Bluetooth technology that can be easily managed from a smartphone. Install the waterproof NODE-BT in gardens, parks, medians, roundabouts, greenhouses, or other outdoor applications where AC power is unavailable. NODE-BT is controlled by a multi-language smartphone app. The app maps controllers by location and sends battery-change reminders. Controllers can also be configured offline, which makes field adjustments quick and easy to deploy at a later time. Run-time flexibility is perfect for germinating seeds or other agricultural applications. Best of all, NODE-BT makes battery-powered irrigation convenient and comfortable. For versatility during installation, the controller is mountable in five unique ways. Total app control removes the task of opening dirty valve boxes and programming irrigation schedules on a dark screen. Professionals can also enable irrigation and check battery status right on the controller with the touch of a button, greatly speeding up maintenance.

Don't recommend. I've had this for ~2 months & it's started having issues turning off the valve. Came home twice this week to my front yard flooded.

I bought this to replace the non Bluetooth version with the buttons and lcd screen. The previous models buttons had become unresponsive possibly do to water intrusion. Programming via the phone on the newer version is much simpler nd streamlined. Only taking around 10 minutes, even allowing you to associate pictures with valves. It has been way more reliable and easy to adjust to changing weather. I don't even have to get out of the car to do it.

Previous home owners took timer or never had one. With no harness in hole or garage needed an easy way to get two zones working. Install was very easy and app is easy to use.

The improvements Hunter has made with the new Nodes puts them in a completely different league.I have had six Nodes controllers in my yard for several years--from single zone to 4 zone units. Previous models required getting down on your knees to reprogram each unit as weather conditions changed.Early this year one of my units battery connection failed and I decided to try one of the new BT models. After installing and using the new model, it became clear that this was far superior to the five older model nodes remaining in my yard and I decided to replace them all. Now everything is controlled from my iphone by simply being in the vicinity of the controllers. It turns out that I was a unknowingly a bit of a beta tester on these units and I did have a few connectivity issues early on, however, software/firmware updates have provided remedies before I could complain. Initially it was a bit of a pain because firmware updates were frequent and required some time to download at each controller location. Each update did substantially improve both connectivity and user friendliness and I couldn't be happier.Nodes were traditionally intended as an afterthought for sprinkler systems that were installed with manual control valves. The new controllers' convenience change the system to a legitimate wireless alternative with none of the problems associated with underground wiring. The one improvement that I hope Hunter incorporates into their software soon is the ability to remotely see and change each controllers programing on your computer or ipad. That would allow setting up programs at your desk and simply downloading them once in the vicinity of your controllers. It would help avoid the accidental overlapping of run times as seasons and conditions require changes. It would be a bit faster yet to change all six of my controllers programs--something that the new units have already reduced by at least 75%.

This is the perfect way to be able to control your sprinklers without a hardwire from the house. My house is on a hill and the main line is at the top. Running a wire from my house 50ft up a hill to my valves new location would not have been practical. This unit solved all my problems. And for the price you can't beat it. Programing on my phone was very easy . My system is still being completed so no idea on how long the batteries will last but the app will tell you the remaining charge when you connect to it. The only things that would have been nice features would been more zones 4 is nice but 6 would have been better and maybe an option for a solar panel add on to extend battery life . Other that that this is a great unit.
