Bought this for my 7 year old because he likes to play undercover policeman or spy or whatever. he has enough things that are makeshift weapons. so i went looking for some things to round out his arsenal.these are super simple, like fisher price simple binoculars with either a white light or red light for when you don't want to be detected. i think its better for like a 3-5 year old. works fine as stated. tough because he drops every once in awhile.

As many of the reviews mentioned, you need to understand that this is a toy. As a toy, it's awesome and my 6 year old loves it, he uses them all the time. It was also mentioned in a couple reviews that the nose piece wasn't the right fit and we experienced that as well but I just stuck a small piece of weather strip on the nose spot and it works great.

My son was excited about these and they work as described. The only issue is that they are not well molded for binoculars. My son is 6 with a very small nose and these hurt the top of his nose to the point he does not want to use them. I've taught him how to hold them so he is essentially pointing his face down and his eyes up to keep them off his nose.
