DISCLAIMER: This nest box is made with bamboo— it is not water-proof or weather-proof. Durability may eventually be affected by pet urine, feces and other debris. If purchasing for outdoor use, we recommend using DEFY wood stain or a similar product to help protect against water damage.
Our suggestion is to mount the box high on a tree (exterior use) or higher in your pets cage, top corner of the cage (interior use). When used for breeding, mount closer to bottom of cage in case babies come out and need to find their way back.
Nesting animals require a safe place to sleep or nap, preferably one that is quite, dark, and warm. Proper nesting material can help reduce stress levels and increase the quality of sleep your pet is getting, all while optimizing their health.

Super excited to put this up. Super disappointed that it only lasted 3 months before the bottom fell off. Tried to put it back together but the wood splits when I tried to use screws instead of the flimsy tack nails (they might be staples) that it was put together with. I didn’t put it together it came fully assembled. Super sad since my squirrels seemed to be very interested in it.

He loves his best box. Takes his nesting blanket strips in and makes a warm nest. Quality built even tho he loves to chew on it occasionally.

This nest box is great. Although the top was easily damaged by the squirrel. But is of good quality. But WOW talk about inflation. I paid almost half for this box last year. That’s crazy to me. It makes you wonder…

Nice nest box. Came with 3 small screws, but doesn't have the hardware to mount to the side of cage as shown. No holes drill either for this. I'll make it work because I have to.
