I've had other nests for my lovebird where she's gone to town on it putting holes in it and pulling the lining out on it in no time at all. This one is good quality. Perfect lining and size for lovebirds.

Just moved my 2 parakeets into a bigger cage and hung this hut in there. 2 days.....they haven't gone anywhere near it! But, they haven't gone 'up' to the next perches yet, either. Hanging out by the door. A few more days might help.UPDATE. Almost a year later. My female loves this. She very seldom comes out of it. She looks ok. Feathers are very nice, but I wonder about her not getting enough activity. I just took it out this morning to see if it could be washed. She has chewed the corners on the floor but not a lot. It was pretty filthy. She even had seed hulls in there. Didn't know she ate in it! She would roll and lay upside down and tug and play in this for hours. Now she just lays inside. I threw it away because I couldn't clean it properly.Now thinking if I should get another one. She wants to be a mom, but that obviously hasn't worked. Lots of bad eggs, though. The male or her, who knows.

FLIMSY, POORLY SEWN, MATERIAL CHEAP, SIZE RUNS SMALL!! Medium was suppose to be good for medium parrots and only 0.7 inches, not even one inch, larger than a small. SIZE was not marked anywhere, so wonder if got the small. Unless bird keeps tail hanging outside, they do not fit! SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED FOR PRICE!! BOUGHT for HAHNS and CAIQUE.

The colors are just as pictured and feel very sturdy. I think it will keep my lovebird warm on colder nights at home but so far he hasn’t set foot in it. I think it looks really nice in his cage. Well worth the money.
