Contains 10 ml of a MILDLY ACTIVATED ROSIN FLUX, TYPE RMA Superior fluxing ability with Instant wetting. It is completely chloride-free. The flux is widely used in electronic applications requiring excellent soldering activity and yielding residues with high water-extractresistivities. Residues are Non-Corrosive and Non-Conductive. If removal of the residue is needed then alcohol should be used. Flux conforms to IPC-ANSI-J-STD-004, Type ROL1. This Product is RoHS Compliant.

I really like this flux pen. I only buy this brand of pen because they last for a long time if you are careful and they are refillable when the flux gets low. The tip comes dry and you will need to press and hold for 20 seconds or so before the flux can travel down the membrane to the tip. It has a nice angle on the tip so you can flux tiny solder pads and wires easily.

no issues, maybe not as thick as i would like but works no problem.

This flux pen works well and as expected. I think it's not the greatest value/amount but it is very convenient and works well. I don't know how long it will last but, time will tell. I have since purchased a 125ml bottle of MG Chemicals Resin Flux 835 based on a recommendation from Mr. Carlson's Lab. Recommended

I find this SRA Soldering Products PEN_RMA SRA #99-20 Rosin Rma Soldering Flux Pen to be effective and easy to use. Sometimes, I find I need to use flux in addition to what is in the flux core solder I typically use. This pen is convenient, and allows precise application of the flux. I do find that in some situations, I need to "prime" the pen by pressing it against my work table to get the tip wet - this is especially true when I am soldering a component onto a delicate board or connection.

Nice little pen for soldering. Works great, and very fine. Easy to run.

I bought this to help solder in the new stepper motors on my Tahoe Dash Board. All but 2 of my gauges died on my 2004 Tahoe and I bought new stepper motors to fix them. I bought this pen just to make it a bit easier for me and it was. After I cleaned up the old solder on the board I use the pen and the new solder went on like warm butter. I used this pen to replace every stepper motor and light bulb on the board and every connection was perfect. I am so happy I bought this as it made my job so much easier. I highly recommend this product.

It does a really good job providing a clean surface for soldering! It's great for tight spaces where don't want your soldering to spill over to the next connecting hole. A bit pricey though and with a very short shelf life (only a year).

A useful, and really an essential tool, for working on surface mount device circuit boards.

i personally find flux super necessary if you want to do nice, clean soldering. most solders already have a flux core, but putting flux on the surfaces of your projects makes it so much easier. Also, sometimes you might have to work with less than desirable resins. the pen does nice clean flux distribution. working with the loose gels are fine, but then can be messy, and wasteful when using other disposable tools to apply and clean the loose gels. this pen fixes all problem (and covers many soldering sins).

I like it, it works. For those who are still using the tins of flux, you may want to give this a try. Better for smoother connections than rough ones, due to the applicator tip being hard and not conforming to surfaces very well. Not too greasy. I like it.

If you've ever forgotten to put flux on a part then you immediately remember to do it. If you've never done it, then you might think soldering is some kind of magic. Use flux and the magic becomes science/chemistry.This is handy for doing quick touch points on small boards (Arduino) and getting your solder/wires to link up much better. Dab of this on the board, dab on the stripped wire, put some solder on your iron, slip the wire through the hole in the board, touch the end of the wire and the solder will run down the wire, into the hole and thoroughly secure your wires in place. Easy peasy.

Quality of the flux seems good, easy to dispense. used it on a pile of SMD projects. The cap on this pen is a pain - when I was soldering with it I was finding myself duct taping the lid to my desk because it's impossible to get the cap off with one hand while holding an iron, and it gets gummed up/sticky easily. The pen met its death roughly halfway through it's flux quantity when I went to open it for a simple soldering job in a small aircraft and the cap was stuck on and the pen came apart. it sprayed sticky flux all over the cabin floor - was not impressed.

Helped out soldering some surface mount parts. Will order again for sure. Good price and works great. Hate water flux and no-clean.....RMA is the way to go. A notable "minus" might be that it is supposedly refillable, but RMA flux usually gums up the tip by the time you run out, also the tip is usually pretty chewed up by that time also (if you solder thru-hole occasionally), so just order a new one......Really at this price it is worth it. Almost forgot, you do need to clean this when done, so count on that extra step, but the results are well worth it.
