Cutter works great. End caps fit nice and snug.The cutter crushes the housings a bit, so I sharpened a broken spoke and used it to open the hole, and gave the brake housing ends a squaring touch with a dremmel.

Everything worked great, was enough cable housing to repair one bike, still have cable left over to repair another bike, though I need more cable housing which I have ordered.

I have an older 21-speed bike. For the past couple years it’s been locked into one gear with only the front brakes working because all the other cables had seized.I decided to look around to see if there was a product I could use to upgrade my cables at home rather than take it to a shop where it would probably cost more than the bike is worth.I found this kit and decided to give it a try. The price was reasonable so I ordered it and was amazed at how easy it was to use.Everything to do the job is in the box including the heavy duty diagonal cutters for cutting and trimming the armoured cable guides. The cables, armoured guides, end caps for the guides and plastic bushings are all included to do the job.It took me about two hours to remove and replace the old cables and about another hour to set up the brake tensions and the derailleurs so everything worked properly. For the price this is an amazing product and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their bicycle cable systems.Super-good product! Definitely worth the money!
