These ARE hand untemsils, so there are obviously automated solutions that may give better, or easier results. However, they definitely perform as designed, for smaller jobs. I was pleased with my results, and plan to continue unsing these devices, but will explore other options for larger projects.

First if all, it it is too small for my use. Not only that, it takes too much effort to sift such a small amount of powdered sugar or flour. It will go into my Goodwill box. Should have sent it back immediately, but I didn't.

This flour sifter works well and comes with a few nice accessories. The sifter isn’t just a traditional shake sifter, but also has a mechanism to sift the flour when it gets stuck. I have also used this sifter to lay down an even layer of flour for rolling dough and it worked well. The mini sifter ball this set comes with works nicely for dusting food with powdered sugar, and the dough scraper is actually very helpful for cutting and measuring dough. I ran everything through the dishwasher and it survived and cleaned just fine.

Usually, my wife uses a sieve to sift flour, so she ordered this sifter to make the whole process more efficient and professional. However, this sifter was a disappointment - it is very small and has only a 2 cup capacity, not 3 cups as advertised.The whole sifting process is very slow and inefficient. It took my wife forever to sift 10 cups of flour, and her hand was in pain after sifting so much flour.This sifter is suitable only for working with a very small quantity of dough.
