Bought a set of 15 of these carpet stair treads and they were shipped quickly and safely wrapped. Once unwrapped, i peeled the protective backing off (carefully) and applied them to the newly cleaned and washed wodden steps. The job couldn't have been easier! they stuck well and look fantastic! my family loves the way they look and going up and down the stairs feels so much safer. Could not be happier.

I made a template so that they would be installed evenly. The tape will release if you start crooked and will re-apply without issue. They will not slip, and I have not seen any deterioration within the first month. Highly recommend

After breaking my knee cap I was scared to walk down my wooden stairs. The Treads gave me confidence that I wouldn't fall/slip again. The pattern is beautiful and goes perfectly with my oak hardwood stairs and the hallway walls. Each time I go up or down the stairs I marvel how beautiful it is. The whole entryway is improved. The price was very responsible and though some other advertised treads might have been thicker, this is good for me. The application process was easy and quick; the treads are solidly placed with no curling or sliding. I am very happy with this purchase.

I love the pattern and softness of these treads. Very easy to apply, however I would recommend getting carpet tape as well, for a stronger hold because the backing is a grippy-type rubber. They do stay in place as is, but with 3 dogs and 2 kids running up and down the steps, I need that extra grip.

I first swept, then vacuumed, the wiped every step with 91% IPA and allowed a fan to blow dry the staircase before starting the application process. Ambient temp was around 68° and relative humidity was 48-51%.As I moved form step to step I would remove the plastic 100% so every edge would present the glue to the cleaned wood stairs.During the application process I used a carpet roller over every square inch repeatedly for approximately 5 to 8 minutes placing my ample frame/weight on the roller. No question there was 100+lbs of just my weight on the roller at all times plus the weight of the roller itself. Next I placed 10lb weights on every corner for 24 hours.Removed the weights after the 24 hours and immediately the treads started lifting on various corners. Now, roughly 48 hours later, almost every corner has lifted.Disappointed, oh yeah.

My family and I kept slipping on the stairs and getting hurt so we needed something. This was the first time I’ve ever ordered stair treads so I was not sure what to expect. But these stair treads have exceeded my expectations! For starters, the design fits my interior design theme perfectly. Second, not a single person in the house has slipped on the stairs since! The treads have a sticky bottom and really stay in place. They are super easy to apply and even add a bit of comfort to the stairs. The pack came with 15 treads and we only have 6 stairs that are wood, the rest carpet, so I am able to switch them out when I need to wash them either ones I haven’t used yet. So far, I’ve only thrown them in the washing machine to clean them and surprisingly, they’re still sticky and stick the my stairs! The corners come up a bit but the package provides additional tape to handle that. Overall, 10/10 recommend!!

These have been great for the steep and old stairs in our home. They were easy to install and look very nice! They’ve been really securely stuck to the stairs so far with no curling up. I would definitely recommend to others!
