I can't believe I found the light switch for a 60-year-old car. It works great. Watch a video and learn how to replace it first because there's only one right way to do it that makes it fairly easy and you have to remove your instrument panel to do so.

This is a perfect fit for my 1968 Mustang, and I make a point to keep a spare in the trunk. These switches have an internal fuse that will inevitably go bad, and since you only use your lights in the rain or the dark (usually the dark), when they go bad you're in a tight spot. Standard Products have always proven rock-solid to me, from solenoids and dimmer switches to headlight switches. Can't go wrong.

If your tail lights, brake lights, dash lights, fog lights and horn all go out at the same time, this is the problem. It’s an easy fix. This part has my 66 mustang back in working order in less than 15 minutes.

Perfect fit in my '65 Falcon. This unit comes with the extension bracket which I needed. I'm glad I did a little research and ordered this one vs. the Part # DS-148 which doesn't include the extension bracket. 8-10 minutes to install I had dash light again!

Parts such as this headlight switch which the auto industry stopped using 30 yrs ago are always a crap shoot. This part was crap, after installation head lights worked but no dash lights or dimmer. pulled part out and shook it, yep you guessed it. some thing was broken and rattling around when I shook the part. I won't buy any parts for my older classic cars anymore from the internet. Disgusted

Didn’t work for a 66 Mustang. It only pulls out once.it should pull half way for park light and all the way for headlights. It’s not the right one or it’s broke. I thought the only difference was long and short neck. Delivery and Company I bought it from was great.
