I bought this after getting a “Throttle range” related code. Despite cleaning the throttle body and doing the throttle relearn procedure, the truck simple didn’t run well at all. Sometimes it would idle fine, other times it would practically push me through stop signs as it downshifted coming to a stop.Installed this in 5 minutes without even removing a single screw. Popped off the clips holding the original on, installed the rubber gasket into the new one, lined it up and installed the new clips to secure it.Performed the idle relearn. Truck runs like the day I bought it. In fact, it runs so much better I could kick myself for not buying this weeks ago. I practically have to learn how to drive it again because it’s so different. Like a miracle.

Slapped this on my 08 Tahoe. Direct fit, super easy install. Had it on and she was running in less than 15 mins. And I took my time.

This fixed my problem! No need to relearn the pcm (like most people say you have to)! Removed throttle body, cleaned it with throttle body spray, swapped old part for this one.. turn to accessories twice waiting 30 seconds after each turn, start it up.. viola! Recommended to get on the freeway (above 40mph), and drive around for a bit to relearn if previously stated doesn’t work. This part came with the new clips! I took the throttle body off to do the swap, it’s way easier dealing with the clips. You need to be sure those clips are installed correctly!

The main power problem is fixed...I no longer receive the error message, rough idle, and loss of power going down the road. The only thing is now, there is a super-fast acceleration from 0 to 20, and then it slows down. I tried several pointers and nothing fixed the fast 0 to 20; but it is something that I can deal with.
