I no longer trust our local Post Office to deliver a regular white envelope on time. I have had multiple checks take over 40 days to get to a neighboring state!! I now use these yellow 9x6 envelopes and haven't had an issue since! I sometimes outline the envelope edges with a bright red sharpie to draw more attention to my mail when running through 1000's of other envelopes being sorted. Also, you can't easily see through these holding them up to a light like you can with standard white envelopes.
