Tried the green california custom stuff and it was expensive, smelled like cat pee, didn't tell you how long to leave it on, requires another product to really get results, and just left streak stains everywhere. I thought my hood was ruined and I would have to sand and rebrush it.Thankfully with this, I just generously sprayed on. Gave it 5 minutes, poured a bucket of water and finally got back that beautiful shine on my bare brushed aluminum hood.

The item came in and it leaked some of the contents. Seal was intact so not sure why it was leaking.

Before and after pictures. What worked best was spray it on. Leave it 10 mins. Wash it off spray it on again, let it sit. I took a broom and scrubbed it little to work it in and loosen up the grim before final rinse. Very little effort for a great result. Darker spots were treated a third time. Wear gloves.

I used this on aluminum wheels that have endured decades of Alabama clay and on what appeared to be stained wheels. I did no prep- just sprayed on the wheels and waited 5 minutes before rinsing off with water. For the effort involved the results are great. I expect if I scrubbed with a scotchbrite after spraying they’d come out as clean as etched aluminum can be. If you’re lazy and live on long dirt road this works well.

Just spray on let sit and rinse will surprise you with the results. It’s simply a semi mild acid solution. But it worked well on brightening up some old big truck fuel tanks.

I used it on a 5 year old aluminum (plate welded) boat to even out the colour on the sides to match where I had buffed out some deep scratches. It took 3 sprays and scrubbing to get it to match the power buffed colour (new aluminum). This stuff is very powerful and toxic. Don’t expect to just spray on and wash off. You will get streaking. You will need to spread, wait and scrub. I am quite satisfied. But to get a perfect finish you will need to polish with aluminum polish.

Great product, you will have to put a little work into scrubbing pontoon to get great results. Follow directions and use PPE (rubber gloves,protective glasses and resperator). Finished product looks awesome.

I recently tried out TAR BRITE Ultimate Aluminum Cleaner & Restorer on my old aluminum canoe, and the results were pretty impressive. I've been looking for a good cleaner to bring back some shine to it, and this stuff worked wonders. It's advertised as perfect for pontoons, but it did a great job on my canoe too.Using it was super easy. I didn't need any special tools or equipment, just applied it according to the instructions, and the dirt and grime started to come right off. It was satisfying to see the difference as I cleaned; one side of the canoe looked brand new, while the other side still had that dull, weathered look. The contrast was stark, like a before-and-after photo you'd see in an ad.What really sold me on this product was taking a picture of the cleaned side next to the non-cleaned side. The cleaned area was so much brighter and looked almost new, which was exactly what I was hoping for. It made the whole canoe look bad in comparison, so I ended up doing the whole thing.

I bought this cleaner to remove some stains and oxidation on my aluminum boat. It did an amazing job and left my aluminum looking brand new. I use it on a lot of different metals and it works just as good. I will caution you to wear protective clothing. At the very least, wear good gloves and eye protection because this stuff is HOT!! It does exactly what it says it will do though. Just be careful.

First it came way earlier than expected so awesome fast shipping!I used it to clean an aluminum canoe and WOW! And used it for a 14 foot aluminum boat inside and out and did an awesome job. I did have to reapply and scrub numerous times on the transom as it was extremely corroded but with a little elbow grease it finally cleaned up. Now this is an 1980-81 Springbok that had never seen a cleaning like this lol looks great nowWill buy again but still have some left. Two thumbs way up!
