I purchased the Starlink Ethernet Adapter Pro for Gen 2 hoping it would integrate seamlessly with my Deco mesh system to improve my network setup. Unfortunately, after spending quite a bit of time trying to get it to work, I couldn't achieve a stable connection.While the adapter seems well-made and sturdy, it just didn’t perform as expected with my particular system. I eventually purchased a different adapter, which worked fine with my mesh setup right out of the box.It’s possible my Deco mesh system is somehow incompatible with this adapter, but that’s not made clear in the product description or documentation. If you're using this adapter to connect to a specific type of network system, it might be worth verifying compatibility first.This adapter seems well-suited for general Ethernet applications, but it didn’t meet my needs. I’m giving it three stars because the quality and design are solid, even though it didn’t work for me.

i only get 100 megs but it says up to 1Gig.

This adapter did not work for us. When I contacted Starlink, it was recommended I get an ethernet adapter from an approved vendor. Apparently, at least according to my experience, this is not a Starling approved appliance. Caveat emptor.

I recently tried the Starlink Ethernet Adapter Pro for Gen 2, and I have to say, I’m quite impressed. The setup was straightforward, and it seamlessly connected my Starlink Dish V2 to my router. The build quality feels solid, and I appreciate the grey finish which fits nicely with my other equipment.In terms of performance, I've noticed a significant improvement in stability and speed compared to using the Starlink Wi-Fi alone. Streaming, gaming, and video calls are much smoother now, with fewer interruptions. The RJ45 connection really makes a difference, especially in rural areas where Wi-Fi can be spotty.Overall, this adapter has exceeded my expectations. If you’re using Starlink and need a reliable connection, I highly recommend giving the Ethernet Adapter Pro a try!
