This protective cover does a great job at preventing scratches and abrasions on the back of the Starlink panel, especially if you plan to set it on the ground or use it in rough conditions. The silicone material is easy to install, doesn’t damage the panel, and doesn’t interfere with the signal quality. However, if you’re looking for something to protect the front of the panel, this isn’t the best option—vinyl stickers don’t work well for that.Pros:Great Back Protection: Prevents scratches and wear when placing the panel on rough surfaces.Easy to Install: Simple and hassle-free setup.No Impact on Signal Quality: The silicone material doesn’t interfere with performance.Cons:Not for Front Protection: Doesn’t effectively safeguard the front of the panel.

I bought this and a padded cover for the mini but once I put this on, it makes it too big to fit into the cover. I will keep it as it could be handy for outdoor use. The cover fits the mini perfectly. One small annoyance is it collects dust and dog hair or anything easily and requires cleaning. Otherwise great product.

It’s a bit flimsy and if you are in a dusty environment you will be removing it a lot to clean out the dust. It does help protect unit from being banged up but could be a tighter grip that’s for sure

Not very good quality. The picture shows the backside because the front cover is a very thin layer paper thin. Essentially this is two piece of different material. I found a thicker rubber cover that goes around the entire starlink and it was cheaper than this.

The cover is good quality silicone that fits the Starlink Mini as advertised. I like having the extra layer of protection on it while in use out in the open or in the car. I would recommend the product if you are looking for a good case to prevent minor damage. My only critique which is no fault of the product or supplier is that if you have purchased one the many cases that fit the Starlink Mini dish like I have, the dish will not fit in those cases with the silicone cover on.

The case is great for protecting your Starlink mini, however Stargear includes a piece of vinyl intended to wrapping the Starlink Mini’s dish surface. The vinyl itself seems to be sticker material and it’s very prone to air bubbles. There are no air release pours in this vinyl so it’s guaranteed to get bubbles. After professionally installing vinyl with zero air bubbles, I think the heat from the dish caused small pockets to expand? Somehow bubbles resurfaced after day use. I’d recommend ordering car wrap vinyl like CheetahWrap or VinylFrog. These have air release properties.
