I was disappointed with the Starlink Mini Suction Cup Mount. Despite its four suckers, it didn't provide stable support, especially on bumpy drives, leading to frequent signal interruptions. The strong alloy material feels less durable than expected, and the soft EVA gaskets didn't effectively prevent the dish from shifting.While the quick-release feature is handy, it often detached unexpectedly. I had hoped this kit would work well for my car and RV, but I can’t recommend it based on my experience.

The mount is rock solid. SL mini held in place with no rattling in my Tacoma sunroof.

Seems so far to stick to inside of sunroof, but the design of the tabs that hold the dish covers the power light.

This product can be a little tricky to get set up with the Mini, but with practice, you can install and remove it in less than a minute. Where it really shines is very solidly holding the Mini in place, regardless of the road conditions. I used it on an 8-hour road trip, and it did a great job keeping the Mini secure.

it has that toxic chemical smell coming from the suction cups. the metal bar is a nice touch compared to the plastic ones out in the market. I hooked it up to the glass roof on my model 3 and it didn't lose suction for over 8 hrs. cheap suction cups usually lose suction once temperature fluctuates drastically. I would say it did well. installed on a hot model 3 sitting out in the sun for hours and came back once the sun came down to about 22 degrees of temperature difference and it was still on the glass roof. the toxic smell is really bad though. if this smell bothers you, I would avoid. I would be keeping this one and returning the other one I ordered which is made of plastic.

This Starlink Mini mount is highly recommended for mounting the Starlink Mini on the inside of your glass roof and makes for super easy installation.
