This case, grounded by my friend who's an electrician is very comforting when I have it loaded with batteries and charge controllers from a PV array in my westerly facing windows. Without the ground attachment, I would be afraid to touch it. I can't think of a safer way to do Solar Power indoors. Thank you for making this delivery count Amazon. I believe we'll be served more carefully for the foreseeable future.

I have ordered NavePoint and Sysrack products in the past, as well as Middle Atlantic and StarTech products... This rack is by far on top of the list of quality racks. It comes ASSEMBLED and no 30+ minutes spent putting it together. Also included was a QUALITY 10" rack shelf, worth $30+. For the $40-50 additional cost, it was well worth it for the time saved putting a knocked down product together and satisfaction of giving the customer a sturdy piece of equipment. Just my 2 cents :-)

This is the product that professional's purchase. Fully assembled with a bonus shelf for equipment that is made without rack ears or rack mount provisions. High quality rack. Includes all the screws and parts you need to mount your equipment. Why try saving just a few less dollars and then endure the headaches of buying cheap junk that you will spend hours trying to assemble? Trust me - it is not worth it buying that other junk. Go with a high-quality product like these StarTech racks AAA++++.

This is a great rack, bought and installed several. The swing back is excellent, same with the swing front and removable sides. It’s quite heavy (because it’s so sturdy) so you’ll need a good mounting board secured to the wall. Only deducting a star because the price has crept up on these. Like so many other items, these need some price deflation..

This rack was just what I needed for a small store network setup! My only complaint is that the top and bottom cable pass-thru's are rather large and unscrew from the outside which could allow for someone to get in and snip some lines if they wanted to. Honestly considering that unit is in a locked area and has a camera on the door anyway, it's not a major concern. Otherwise, solid rack. Easy to setup, easy to mount. The removable side panels was a major plus as well!

Pros:-Looks nice-Sturdy-Comes mostly pre-assembledCons:-Instructions are confusing and lacks a lot of information.-Door is badly designed, it feels like it's not properly assembled, but it came assembled like that.-Seemed overprices for what it is.The instructions are a little confusing as it refers to the wall mount without properly identifying it. It's not hard to find, but it confuses you by showing a different picture than what you receive.It also comes with a huge amount of pieces that I didn't use or understood how to use it. The instructions don't seem to care about most of them. They assume you probably had an IT training I guess.For me it was such a waste of parts that probably increased the price of the product by a lot.The door is finicky to open and close, it doesn't close nicely. It hits the lower metal part making noise. You have to lift a little every time or it will hit and not close. Also when you leave it open it tend to close it a little. It doesn't have any mechanism to prevent it opening or closing while you are working on something inside. It just keeps trying to close on you.The end result is a sturdy and nice looking product, but the with several cheap aspects to it. The impression is that you overpaid for like a lot.

It is a quality product and comes with a shelf… but I needed the casters… not the shelf.This is a design that lends itself to being able to move it around a bit. In fact I use it for a power distribution box… and was somewhat disappointed when it arrived with caster mountings… but no casters.

The cabinet holds an NAS and a microserver.My criteria were security and ventilation. This cabinet has a locking door with steel mesh not glass. Glass did not seem too secure to me. The mesh in the door combines with mesh in the sides, vent holes in the top and bottom and an open back to ensure lots of airflow without auxiliary fans.
