Using Your New System - 3X Lock, Long Range Remote
The module will monitor the OEM remote for 3X Lock and will start your vehicle when you press lock 3 times. An aftermarket remote is not necessary, there are no extra key fobs to carry around.
Optional Long Range Remotes:
For extra long range you can add an optional long-range RF kit. If you want to go all out, you can choose a cell phone module which provides you the ability to start from virtually anywhere you have phone service.

Simple 20 minute install. The video instructions make it incredibly easy. Have had it for 3 weeks and zero issues whatsoever. It has not caused any adverse draw on the battery either. I haven’t timed it yet, but there is a ten or fifteen minute timer on run time and then it automatically shuts off. You can restart it repeatedly as usual though.

Well worth it!!! Easy to install (not quite as easy as the video install in a Sienna). Directions are clear and I had no problems at all. Excellent plug and play remote starter. Highly recommend.

I installed this on a 2019 4Runner and it works perfectly! Everything about this kit is high quality, and reasonably priced as well. I probably spent an hour doing the install from viewing the instructional video to hitting the start button. Everything fit nicely in place, programing is simple and it all just works! Highly recommend.

I put this in my 4-runner in under 20 minutes. I have the mechanical ability of a small primate. Following the video and instruction pamphlet I was able to install and have this working. Highly recommend.

Everything was plug and play and easy to install easy to program. Tech support was great and helped solve my issues. For my 2019 Toyota Sienna the OEM remote doesn't reach very far so I added Fortin RFK942 one of many suggested by Start-X website. For some reason I had to buy the RFA2A kit even though the T-Harness already had a provision for the antenna, it didn't power the antenna and wouldn't allow me to program the remotes.RFA2A - I had to make a slight modification to the power input connector to accept the connector from the Start-X T-Harness. This is more to try an be helpful as I feel this issue is with the connector on the RFA2A. I left a review for that Start-X to RFK942.If using a Fortin Kit get the information off the remote start module and your amazon order # then email tech support. They will direct you to what module that this is similar to so you can get the remote programming instructions to your specific vehicle.The only reason I took off one star was due to the fact the information was scattered which is somewhat understandable as the antenna kit was from a different company but if they are going to suggest it they should have the information on their website. Also, because the harness has the provision for an antenna but didn't power and needed the extra connector.

Oohkay, the start-x kit worked perfectly, super easy install. Adding on the rfk942 kit was a different story to my 2018 Sienna se. First off, download guide 69541 from fortin. This guide is what you need. Follow the instructions for the "t harness" wiring setup... Except the black Datalink plug will not fit. You need to cut off the two raised bars on the plug for it to fit. Once that is set up follow the programming as per the guideline and it works perfectly. The lights all work the same way as in the guide. See my photos for how to cut the plugm make sure it's connected with the cut side facing just how the photo is.
