I have a 2021 Jeep Compass Sport with the Auto Stop/Start system. I hate it! I always turn on the override button to turn off the stop/start system. The 4D Tech pigtail is perfect. It automatically turns of the Stop/Start feature every time I start my Jeep. Install took 5 minutes, if that! The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is the price. Should be about $50, not $100. I'm still happy I bought it though.

The wire where it connects to the OBD two binds up with the hood release. Wire should be mounted the other way.

I bought this auto start stop eliminator due to the fact that I wasn’t a fan of having to toggle the feature off most times by clicking the button in my compass every time I turn the car on. I am not as mad at the start/stop feature as others but I would like to turn it on in times where I might need it. I did have a hard time at first finding the connector to attach the eliminator to, but when I did I was rocking.

Installed this device on a 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. Works as desired, however it does not "remember" the setting as indicated in the product description. In other words, after it was installed, you cannot turn the auto start back on (it stays off). The description of this product indicates that it will "remember" the button, so if you turn it back on, it will remember. However, that is not the case for my installation, hence the 4 stars. Since the product description indicates that it is good for 2019-2021, the problem may be that I installed it on a 2022. All that being said, my goal was to turn off the auto start/stop, and leave it off permanently. And for that, it works perfectly.

The instructions provided were straightforward and easy to follow.Once connected, this shunt/bypass worked as advertised.
