I ordered this faraday pouch at the same time I ordered it in black. As stated in the black pouch review, this white pouch does exactly what it is advertised to do (will not unlock or start car when fob is in snapped pouch) and it has the same concerns (potential durability given material thickness).

I wanted this to lock my key fob in my truck, but the truck still sees the key fob even when it's in this bag. Looks like others have found success, but in my case, the bag did not block the signal.

We wanted this because we have a vehicle with a "squirrely" key fob that seems to be possessed. We don't use it, but might need to have it near the vehicle and don't really trust it. It has actually attempted to start the truck before! Since it's intermittent, when we got this, we put the fob for our other car in it and tried that. With that one, going behind the car will open the trunk. Nope. The button on the door will unlock the car. Nope. Definitely blocks the signal from the fob for getting into the car! Exactly what it's supposed to do. We have not tried it for any other use - like a credit card.

I use this Faraday bag for my Turo business. It is perfect for getting the keys into tight places like a lockbox because it is so small and flexible. It also blocks all signals, so it is perfect for keeping the keys secure.

I put my key fob in the bag, pressed it from the outside of the bag, and my car did not react, so it works fine. Other than that I find the build quality to be good and should last for years.

I purchased a larger Faraday bag, but it was really for a cellphone and too large for my space. This is exactly the correct size for my Lexus key; I can't imagine any fob so large that it won't fit in here. Faraday bag attached to the cotton outsde liner so you can't accidentally put the fob in the wrong place and leave it unprotected. Strong metal snaps, not just Velcro. Tab to attach it to something or hang off your belt.
