This is fantastic! The instructions mentioned the 2022 panel with the push start being different but didn't mention how to thread the cords up through to the push button. You can feel your way up underneath to get it up through underneath the steering wheel and then behind the dash panel where the push start cord comes through.Follow the programming instructions exactly (plugging blue, white, and black into the module correctly is important) and you will be all set.Took about an hour!

I reached out to the company and it was a process, no phone number just email. The tech support basically just read the instructions as they come in the manual. I’m not stupid I know how to read, long story short it didn’t work at all it wouldn’t flash green even after I flash the firmware on the module. I read the reviews and thought it would work but it didn’t for me. Proceed at your own risk

For someone who has never installed anything electrical in a car, it could be tough. Otherwise, the hardest part is finding the plug above the peddle. Took me about 45mins to complete. No trouble whatsoever. Just watch the videos, read and follow the manual, and David's review helped a lot too.At the end I never got a green light. It took me over five hours to install because one of the plugs are way up underneath the dash and I am not a small guy nor do I have small hands but I did finally get everything plugged in and it works great. Follow the directions and you won’t have any trouble Firmware update worked well it performed just as they said it would. Video and installation manual a must read and a must view. Follow the instructions completely and thoroughly.

Installation was pretty straightforward according to the directions. The only thing to be aware of is once you get to the section where the directions tell you to push the start button to on ( not start the vehicle) until the light on the control box flashes green it takes about 8-9 time doing it for a Renegade. I think the instructions could have a side note saying some vehicles may take doing this step up to 10 times but other than getting frustrated with this step in the programming process it works great and the wife is very happy she doesn't have to get into a cold Jeep now!

Product works as detailed. Installation was easy. Initial programming instructions could use a bit more detail but Start-X support was there to help. From initial programming step 2, the instructions state to look for a blinking green light when pressing keyfob unlock button. Start-X said it could be solid or flashing green. Also in step 4, the instructions should state to cycle thru the PTS button multiple times until you get the flashing green light. The instructional video on secondary programming of the box are spot on and no issues there. Again, customer service was there to help...
