Watched YouTube video and was easily installed in less than an hour on a 2021 Nissan Qashqai S with key start. Truly plug and play. Just takes a little bit to tuck wire harness back up inside. Had to turn on ignition once to allow module to activate. After that it been 3 x lock and it starts.

It wasn't listed as compatible, but knowing the guts of a key start Nissan Rogue and Qashqai are almost identical, I decided it was worth a try. Followed the video directions carefully, but there's a moment during disassembly/install where you'll likely look at your dashboard and think, "What have I done?!" It all went smoothly except for connecting the green--either the connector was a little smooshed, or it wasn't exactly designed for the Qashqai . Either way, some very "gentle forcing" I got them connected. Held my breath, said a quiet prayer, hit lock on the fob three times, and the car started! Definitely test the unit and all your other signals/lights/horn *before* you put the dash back together. This $230 unit and an hour of my time probably saved $800+ for a starter. The zip ties that came with it are garbage though--they break easily. Make sure you get some of your own before doing this.

Easiest install I’ve ever done as far as remote start kits. Works perfectly, just wish the hazards didn’t flash every few seconds when running. Other than that, perfect.

This couldn’t have been any easier to install. I had this installed on my wife’s 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport in less than 20 minutes and my index and middle finger on my left hand were wrapped from a surgery I recently had and still was able to install it on my own quickly. Works well, we’ve never had an issue with it. Works as intended.

I was worried this might be a mistake to buy and install on my own. I'm so happy I took the chance!Installation took less than 45 minutes! The hardest part was getting all the wires back under the dash but not too bad. Use zip ties to compact then!

I received the kit and had installed within 45 mins if you know what you are doing. But the video does help. One thing that I am not liking is that fact that my 4 ways keep flashing every 5 seconds. Not sure if this is a way to indicate that the car is still running. Otherwise, very good product so far. Would but it again for another vehicle.

Just finished installing this within 30 minutes on a 2019 Rogue with a key start. All you need is the plastic pry tool in the kit and a 10mm socket. Even the battery terminal is 10mm. Disconnected the battery popped off the left driver side dash panel where the fuse block is located. Removed 2 10mm bolts securing the hood release lever. Popped the lower dash cover off mostly by hand instead of the pry tool. The upper right latch on the cover next to the steering column needed some lateral tension towards the steering column while pulling the upper panel the opposite direction. Then gave it a quick pull and it came out. Removed all the quick connects for the controls in the panel with AWD and a few other buttons. Now the lower panel is mostly out the way leaving the ODB connection in place. BCM is right there held in with 1 10mm bolt. It has a slide latch on the top side that sits in metal keeping it stored like a VCR tape on a shelf. Once I twisted and pulled it out I was able to get the 4 connectors out and install all the connectors on the T-harness. Made sure to keep the wires in routing order so nothing was crossing this way during installation there wouldn’t be 1 wire set pulling on another. Installation wasn’t too bad, I had to tuck 1 connector up and right behind everything while forcing the BCM back in place with some oomph. Be carful not to cut any wiring on the metal frame areas near the steering column. The rest of the wiring was stuffed on that metal frame area next to the steering column. I had the starter module hanging with just the 2 connectors it needed and reconnected the lower panel controls. Connected the battery. The starter module had a solid red led as stated in the instructions and I turned the key to the On position. Module flashed green 3x and went off. Removed key and tested the remote start. All was working perfectly with 3x lock on the key fob to start and another 3x lock to stop. I found a perfect chamber to stuff the starter module into. It’s against the left panel where the fuse block is on the inside. It snuggly fit in there with the 2 connectors facing me and I zip-tied the wiring to another harness right there. This module won’t bounce around or make noises if there is a vibration. It’s basically right behind the lower panel controls and up a few inches. Nothing will touch it. Then I quickly snapped the lower panel back in place and reinstalled the hood release level assembly. Job was done and the starter module works perfectly. This was a really simple install and worth the money. I like that it uses the OEM key fob and hooks into the lock routine. This was a really good idea by the developers. Great product, I’ll buy this for other vehicles in the future.

Great kit! Easy to install. Getting the BCM back in was a little time. Need patience and a little finessing to keep the wires from snagging on stuff. Love how after starting it. Has slow 5 sec hazards flash. Helps identify if you have it started when you look out your window. And just in general in public places that the vehicle is on. Other remote vehicles I have do the headlights. I tested this during the day. So, maybe at night or early morning it will turn on with the auto lights. My other vehicles are older and don't have the auto lights. Overall, great kit, especially for the money.

I received it at noon and had it installed by 1PM. I installed car audio and security systems for years (many years ago) and this was the simplest install for a remote start that I have ever done. The T harness meant no locating, cutting, or splicing wires. Clean and easy and works perfectly with the factory fob. Just hit lock three times and voila. I could not be happier right now. We will see how it holds up.The only word of caution I have is that there do not seem to be any safety interlocks that prevent it from starting if a door or the hood is open. Imagine working to replace the serpentine belt and whoa!!!!! Someone remote started it without knowing you were working on it. I may install a switch in the power wire so I can turn it off if I am working on the car.
