Camera works well, nice images day and night. Not used for game, but to help locate a missing cat. It’s very handy to have images sent directly to my phone in real time, and not expensive. I bought with the solar kit which is good quality and works well. Has kept a full charge even though it has had only a few hours of late afternoon winter sun. Recommend this camera and solar kit.

These cellular cameras are great. We use them not only as game cameras but also for security. We place them in areas so we can see who comes and goes in our 50 acre farm. We get the photos and notifications on our dmart phones. There is a sharing feature where multiple people can get the notifications and photos. Very pleased.

I started out looking for a cellular enabled security camera for a remote property. I tried several and the SIM cards never were able to connect at this location. So I decided on a trail camera option. The Deceptor by Stealthcam has been a great option for me. I purchased the solar panel and have been at 100% charge for 2 months now. It will be interesting to see once days get shorter and snow comes, but right now it’s been great. The cam has triggered as u would expect and the picture resolution is fine for my needs. The notifications lag a little bit but is fine for my use case. I like that you can take pictures on demand as well. I have not tried the video option. The built in SIM card has done great staying connected.

Best Cell camera I have used. Easy set up. On demand pictures. Amazing quality. I will never use a Spy point product again. Ordering 3 more!

I can see in real time the wildlife moving across the farm and when a cop or anyone else has driven up to the farm gate for some reason.

The quality of the pictures are (so far) better than any other companies I have tried to date. That includes SPYPOINT and Motrie. I now own 3 of this brand of cell camera and plan on more... Definitely recommend to friends and family..

IT seems to work pretty well and pictures are crystal clear.

I bought this camera for the detection range. My other cellular cameras take good pictures but miss most of the action. I have them both set up in the same spot and it’s a huge difference in detection range. Battery power isn’t an issue, I have it hooked up to a car battery. I put it out Dec. 31 and it takes anywhere from 300 to over a 1000 pictures a day. The app works great for me, much easier than the other camera with many more options. The on demand pictures and video are a nice option too. I will be buying another for camp 150 miles away.

I spent 2.5 hours talking to customer support trying to gain a basic question of the camera’s native resolution. I never received a real answer, though that didn’t stop them from providing a wrong answer several times. For those that aren’t camera nerds; the native resolution is the cameras true, unaltered resolution. AI takes this, likely 4-5MP, camera to its optimal 40MP resolution by intelligently determining the pixels to increase resolution. All trail cameras do this. Anyway, I never got that answer but I bought 3 anyway because I needed something new and these were a good price point. My mistake. The Command Pro app is cool because it can highlight activity in photos and even differentiate between species and sex of animals! It’s not always accurate, but enough so that I was impressed with that feature. Command Pro app is not at all good at sequencing photos, which is odd. I often see photos out of sequence (example attached). Still, the app is pretty cool with several good features. Only downside of the app is that push notifications are a full 2-3 min delayed (also attached). The image is available in the app a FULL 2-3 minutes before I’m notified. Kind of stinks at my tree stand where I had it guarding my blindside. Deer are 60-80 yards away before the notifications.Customer Support is pathetic. If you need help, sorry about your luck. I have 3 separate issues that are a over 3 weeks out from being responded to in any form. During my 2.5 hour phone call, the lady argued with me, interrupted me and still gave bad info. Email support is, so far, nonexistent. They support several companies and I guess StealthCam is bottom of their priority list. I guess I’ll have to wait for Ridgetec to come out with something new so I can eBay these because I very much prefer Ridgetec’s customer support and immediate notifications.Good product. Decent App. Terrible support. I’d suggest you keep looking for your next trail camera because this company is terrible.
