How to Install the Hitch
1. Open the quick release lever, and remove the nut and spring from the opposite side.
Hold the lever and pull the axle skewer with spring out.
Completely remover the skewer but leave the wheel in place.
2. Slide the hitch onto the skewer.
(The wide end of the spring should face out and touch the lever, the bell of the hitch should face out.)
3. Insert the end of the skewer through the wheel hub and.
Replace the spring (wide end out!) over the end of the skewer,followed by the nut.
4. Adjust the hitch to a right angle and tighten the nut by hand and clamp the lever.
Connect the trailer with the coupler by a D pin.

Painted stainless steel bike trailer hitch for Burley trailers, solid and strong.
Works with disc brake and full suspension bikes
Fits QR axles and solid axles up to 12mm (OD=0.48in).
12mm Thru-Axles will require Burley’s adapted Thru-Axle.
This replacement axle has external threading to accommodate the installation of our axle mounted hitches.
If you are upgrading from a Classic Hitch to this Steel Hitch, you will also need a Flex Connector.
(Flex Connector not included, but you can find it in our store.)
Warning: Can not fit with Breezer style dropouts.

I got this so I could pull our Burley dog trailer with either of my two bikes. It was heavy duty and will do the job well.
