Perfect replacement for failed solenoid on a 2015 Bad Boy ZT Elite Mower. Original, failed solenoid failed on, so I had to quickly disconnect my battery to avoid burning up my starter. New replacement arrived quickly and was an exact replacement for the original unit.

I found this part at my local auto store and it broke while I was trying to install it, but the one I ordered here was a lot better quality and fixed my toro driving mower. Now it works flawlessly!

Lasted 1 1/2 seasons, failed shorted so starter motor ran continuously. Original part it replaced lasted 11 seasons. 1/2 the price of B&S part but probably not worth it.

They work great, bought three, one for my rider, one for the girlfriends and another for the neighbors. Inside there is a contact plate which transfers the current from the input terminalbto the starter terminal. After a period of time this plate gets pitted and continuity is at a minimal. Ever hit the key and nothing? After many atempts to click that key it begins to function. I change out mine after two years, can cause your starter to malfunction based on low amps caused by pitted plates.
