Bought this sand for my granddaughter's Pooping Flamingo (I inadvertently threw the original sand/poop away (LOL). My daughter said it works perfectly, just as the sand that came with the flamingo. She said it didn't match the original sand color (yellow & orange); this one was yellow, but that was ok because it worked perfectly! The sand gets wet, but it stays dry. Would buy it again if needed!

It’s okay. There’s prob better experiments than this. Makes a mess, it’s a little pricey for what seems to be a one time use. But I am cheap and just used a colander to drain water and store back in cup. You also don’t get a whole lot of sand. I don’t know... not worth the money for me. My son did enjoy it though, so that’s why I gave the star rating I did.

I really like this sand and ordered 3 different colors. My grandkids thought it was so cool that the sand is dry as soon as you lift it out of the water. You can leave it in the water for the kids to play with later. I had my grandkids not mix the 3 colors but it might be cool if you wanted to mix the colors. To store it away, I dipped it out on a plate, absorbed the excess water with a paper towel, let it sit out a couple of days and poured it back in the container.
