What I found was in the middle of the product was a 1/8 crack or tear or rip not too fussy about it going to contact Amazon and see what can be done other than that it's perfect I'm just scared that a little cracker chair will get bigger overtime

Doesn't perfectly fit our cook top but covers most of it and that's all I wanted, obviously measure before you order though and a bit smaller is better than a bit bigger for our stoves cook top.This shown on and detailed to be for electric cook tops because electric cook tops, at least most of them including induction ones are now mostly a flat glass surface. If your stove is gas or the still made but older electric design with exposed coils then this type of cover isn't for you. For gas stove I probably wouldn't cover it especially with this as if it gets turned on with this on top then you'll have bad time, not to mention if even if it doesn't catch on fire but maybe puts the flame out from cutting off enough oxygen and your stove doesn't have or have a working safety then you'll be pumping gas out of the burner.Beyond that, if you have a flat electric or induction cooktop then something like this is great for protecting the glass from getting scratched, still if electric always be careful, induction users will likely be fine as if you forget to remove this you'll eventually realize when your pan doesn't get hot.Like the product images show, you can use this for different purposes too.

This silicone mat is thinner than I would like, but it does fit a standard sized range. Shown here over a gas range that does not have a flat top. Secondary uses could be as a boot mat, or anywhere you wish to keep free of detritus.
