Like the variety of sounds and modifications that can be made especially with the 2023 firmware update. Very compact!

Das Numa Compact 2x ist grundsätzlich ein gutes Instrument, es macht auch Spaß es zu spielen. Die Sounds sind ordentlich, und die Idee Zugriegel zu verbauen ist natürlich sensationell. Ebenfalls eine gute Idee ist die Nutzung der Zugriegel um einzelne Parameter der Synth-Sounds in Echtzeit zu verstellen.Leider musste ich das Piano dennoch zurück schicken. Ich benötige eine Lösung für gelegentliche Proben und kleinere Auftritte, da möchte ich nicht immer alles aus dem Probenraum holen müssen. Von daher hätte ich die Abmessungen und das geringe Gewicht dieses Pianos natürlich super gefunden. Allerdings kam ich nicht gut mit den Tasten zurecht, mein Eindruck ist dass diese etwas kürzer sind als normale Tasten, womit ich nicht gut klar kam. Weitere Cons:- Buchsen an der Rückseite schwarz auf schwarz beschriftet.- Es war für mich zunächst nicht erkennbar an welchen der beiden Ausgänge ich muss um Mono zu spielen (nicht beschriftet, aber der Support antwortete schnell!)- Warum wird nach dem Einschalten nicht der zuletzt gespielte Sound aufgerufen?- Bei Tonewheel Sounds wird das Sustain-Pedal automatisch zum Umschalter für Leslie-Speed. Ich konnte das nicht ändern- Der Piano-Sound ist gut, jedoch setzt er sich klanglich nicht besonders gut durch. Ich brauche was das gegen wilde Trommler und Typen mit Marshall-Stacks ankommt, das muss beißen.- die internen Lautsprecher sind so schwach, da hätte man sie wohl besser weg gelassen.Alles in allem also ein nettes Instrument, aber für meine Zwecke nicht so geeignet.

This board really is a lot of fun. I updated the OS, and this thing came alive. The piano sounds are middling, the organ sound is quite good (with the Leslie set to mono), the EP’s are quite good, and the synth is really solid. The unit is so light and easy to use, the keys feel good for most playing (one adjusts to the weight), and it’s easy to use. I come from a Nord Stage 2, a Yamaha CP4, CP88, and YC 73. For most lightweight gigging or general practice, this can’t be beaten. I love itMy previous review with the first one I had (an early release):I was SUPER excited to get this. When I bought it, it was on back-order. It took a couple of months to arrive. I wanted something light and portable for traveling, light gigs, and for times that I didn’t want to take the Nord out. Of particular attraction were the drawbars. I play mostly jazz/rock/pop, and drawbars are definitely a bonus. My excitement ended when I opened the box and hooked it up. Right off the bat the jack panel felt loose and flimsy- so much so that I sort of said a little prayer as I pushed them in. They flexed so much that I thought it might pop into the unit. I’m not sure if it’s just glued in place or if there are tiny screws holding it in, but a definite weak spot. The OLED display was noticeably crooked behind the thin plastic membrane, and would flicker every now and then.So on with the power. When I read that it had good semi-weighted action, I was hoping for something along the lines of the Korg M line (M3, M50). NO. The action is like an old 80’s Casio child’s keyboard. I simply do not know why people rave about this action. The piano sound was decent, but that springy and spongy action made it VERY difficult to play. Several of the keys clacked when I dug in, like there was felt missing under them or something. Plastic on plastic. Dialed up the organ, and was reasonably pleased with it, and REALLY liked the feeling of the drawbar faders, but I noticed that on a couple of them, the display would glitch… even after I removed my finger from the physical drawbar. It would show it going in and out very rapidly. I would jiggle it to make it stop, and most of the time it would, but sometimes it just kept doing it. And it wasn’t like an artifact effecting just the display, you could *hear* the drawbar moving. So, I pulled out just the one drawbar, and it really was spazzing. The organ sound was decent enough (certainly usable), but the Leslie was not good. At all. DP’s were decent enough, but many of the other sounds were just sad.I really wanted to like this board. It’s super lightweight and ticks so many boxes. But the quality is terrible. Outright. And 700 is still a chunk. But the worst thing was the action. I still don’t get why people rave about it.

Ho acquistato il Numa Compact 2x per il suo peso e dimensioni ridotte. La tastiera è di ottima qualità, 88 tasti semipesati, con un tocco piacevole e una buona suonabilità sia sui piani che sugli organi... Un ottimo compromesso tra una pesata e una waterfall... I materiali di scocca e pannello invece non mi sono piaciuti... La plastica, i potenziometri ed i rivestimenti del pannello sembrano poco rifiniti e danno l'impressione di un prodotto poco curato e realizzato in economia, cosa che poi non è visto il prezzo... penserei semplicemente ad una scelta poco azzeccata... Veniamo al generatore sonoro... Lo strumento ha tre diversi sistemi di generazione... Un lettore di campioni, una emulazione di organi, e un sistema virtual analog... Il sintetizzatore VA suona benissimo, ci sono pochi controlli ma sono molto efficaci e consentono di adattare velocemente i preset alle proprie esigenze. L'emulazione di organi elettromeccanici invece non convince... Il suono è poco incisivo piatto e povero di armoniche... La casa produce buone emulazioni di Hammond, probabilmente qui il discorso può essere legato ai convertitori...Veniamo al tasto dolente, il lettore di campioni... La macchina offre alcuni pianoforti, alcuni pianoforti elettrici e clavinet, e una scelta di altri strumenti come archi fiati, bassi e chitarre... la qualità di questi suoni è deludente, sono poco dinamici e suonano poco naturali... anche cambiando i parametri di risposta della tastiera il risultato cambia poco, sembrano quelli di uno strumento dei primi anni 2000... Lo strumento ha una memoria di circa 1 Gb come alcuni strumenti della Nord, che però suonano molto meglio... Questo lascia pensare che i campioni utilizzati, oltre che ad avere una qualità secondo me molto discutibile siano anche poco ottimizzati perché alla fine i suoni presenti sono pochi... Qualche anno fa strumenti con una memoria molto più ridotta offrivano centinaia di preset di ottima qualità... L'app abbinata consente di sostituire ed integrare i suoni interni con altri proposti dalla casa madre, ma non di importare i propri e questo è decisamente un limite. La sezione effetti, pur offrendo una buona scelta non brilla ne per qualità ne per possibilità di controllo... In particolare non si capisce come controllare il delay... La distorsione/overdrive poi suona decisamente male... Infine il potenziometro del volume nella sua corsa fa sentire dei rumori e dei piccoli salti dovuti probabilmente al fatto che non controlli direttamente il circuito audio dello strumento ma agisca come controllo midi della generazione interna... Ho provato lo strumento con diverse casse e diverse cuffie e non sono proprio riuscito a farmelo piacere... Alla fine l'ho restituito, anche perché per la stessa cifra si possono trovare ottime alternative sull'usato, o al limite un controller a 73/88 tasti abbinato con un iPad o un computer... Un vero peccato...

Ho acquistato questo strumento perché volevo qualcosa di leggero, portatile e che mi desse la possibilità di smanettare con qualche suono, anche senza accendere il computer, pur senza perdere la gioia di un tasto decente... A un prezzo abbordabile... Da qui il titolo: ma che vuoi?- Vuoi un pianoforte digitale pesato, identico a quello acustico? Beh, spendi quasi cinque volte tanto (se vai bene), rinuncia a qualche suono, in molti casi alle casse incorporate e comincia a chiamare il tuo ortopedico, perché solitamente pesano un botto...- Sì, ci sono versioni pesate, anche meno costose e ugualmente leggere, ma sono master keyboard... Spiace... La Numa Compact 2x ha comunque dei semipesati di tutto rispetto, molto piacevoli al tocco... Sì, non sono un pianoforte... Ma caricatelo un pianoforte in spalla!- Vuoi un super sintetizzatore, un organo professionale, una workstation con suoni e catene da paura? SPENDI e rinuncia spesso ai tasti pesati... E non dimenticare l'ortopedico, anche questa volta!INSOMMA, siamo tutti consapevoli che questo strumento non è il top di gamma in nulla, ma che vuoi?Magari non eccelle in qualcosa, ma fa tutto in maniera altamente decente, con poca spesa e una manegevolezza nella quale, in questo sì, è il top!I suoni di default sono accettabilisssimi, di quelli EXTRA finora ho provato solo il german grand che non è proprio niente male.Se sei un professionista, che vive di musica, calca i grandi palchi e magari ha pure il suo roadie personale, allora guarda pure altrove... Anche se, magari, per una prova al volo, 9kg compresa la custodia ti faranno gola.Se sei un amatore o un semi-professionista, che cerca qualcosa per saltare di sala prove in localino, senza troppo sforzo, allora facci un bel pensiero...

Pros..It's really light. it's really compact even for an 88 note controller.Keybed is enjoyable to play.lots of hands on features make it suitable for gigging. really good piano, organ, synth sounds.Some decent horn and mellotron sounds.Cons..the effects while ok sounding could do with one or two more hands on controls. Can make them less usable on the fly..the electric piano sounds are not quite as the better sound the board has available..it doesn't really have any FM synth type sounds if that's a requirement for you.Overall it's light, great playing, great sounding and giggiable.Edits and the menu system is also very simple and effective. If the EPS and effects were better it would be full marks.

Got this for gigging. It has good sounds but the build quality is flimsy. I had one for 6 months then it just died. This would be an okay keyboard for rehearsals with singers with the built in speakers and only weighing 20 lbs but not a pro quality keyboard. Action is “semi weighted” and key bed is wobbly. Might be better getting a Yamaha P series for a similar price.

Does not support multitrack recording. Cheap internal audio interface, sucks with iPad Pro . Company doesn’t want to honor warranty . Believed to be a faulty usb interface or they are all crap

Honestly, I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought this. Now, I know I purchased a starter nord/cp. This has really opened up my playing ability, the FATAR keys are really great.. Honestly, so great. Try it out, and I swear you won't regret it.

Just getting started with this keyboard. So far, the keybed feels good to me, not heavily weighted like many of my other boards. Bought primarily to do one-off gigs where I don't need a huge sound palette or the weight of a heavier board (like my DS88). Waiting on the SL case (back ordered) so not going to gig it out until that arrives. It is very narrow and I'm concerned about how it will react to being played on a typical X stand. IOW, there's much less surface area so I'm not sure if that will create problems in the long-run. I'd almost consider putting a sheet of plywood, etc on my stand just to give more support. We'll see...The aftertouch is a nice feature - however, you can't (afaik) simply turn it off globally - you must edit the sound and save it with the aftertouch off.The built-in speakers are cool but won't turn off (afaik) unless you plug in to the headphone output. More research needed...I really like the sounds that come pre-loaded. They're useful and well constructed.TLDRGreat, lightweight, inexpensive 88 board for gigging/studio but there are a couple of features that are a bit counter-intuitive and require some manual digging.Will update after it gets a few miles on it ;-) 4/8/19
