This is definitely way better than the chest protector I'd been wearing since college (over 25 years ago)! Great padding over the heart especially.The only minor annoying thing about it is that there are snaps that are supposed to hold the shoulder pieces in place or make them easy to remove if you don't want them. The top snaps won't stay snapped at all. I don't even bother anymore, because they pop loose as soon as I start playing. The shoulder pieces stay there flapping around. I guess I ought to just get out some thread and sew them into place.

Excellent chest protector for women - tried the 600 model but with a women’s chest, the hard pad interferes with the throat protector on the helmet.This also meets 2021 high school and collegiate standards
