MEASURE THE PLAYER’S CHEST TO PROPERLY SIZE
IMPORTANT: Please do not assume sizing as you may typically when ordering apparel. The Unequal shoulder pads are not sized as a normal garment and proper coverage is of paramount importance. Therefore, players 5’8 - 6’2 tall & weighing between145-155 may still be sized as Small in Unequal shoulder pads. Chest measurements determine the correct size to help ensure fit & maximum safety.
Measure: Place a tape measure under your arms at the fullest part of your chest, wrap around your body until your fingers meet and mark the measurement.
See sizing chart - locate player’s measurement within the various ranges of S, M, or L. Small is a chest size between 26 to 36" - Medium 37 to 45" - Large 46 to 52"
Proper fit of shoulder pads will verify coverage of heart, sternum, collarbones and down to the bottom of the rib cage. Sufficiently tighten all adjustable straps to ensure shoulder pads are snug and stay firmly in place during play.

We had to return this item. It moves up and then you can’t punch up. The chest protector moves up into your armpit area.

My high school junior daughter is a lax goalie. She’s worn the STX gray & white chest protectors before & wanted to try this one. She loves it. It doesn’t ride up her neck like her STX ones and it’s very lightweight while still protecting her. No issues with protection yet. She loves it.

We ordered 3 of these for our goalies. They came without the "apron" attachment in the front, and without either rib pad. (We ordered a right side pad, which seems like it should be standard for a goalie pad). We called the company; all parts are out of stock. So essentially we got their shoulder pad. Even if they had come with the front attachment, it would have been far too short for our high school goalies (about 6' 1"). They are also very narrow, which does allow better stick handling, but exposes the upper ribs. Construction and materials are good, but not enough coverage for taller goalies. I.e. above 6 feet tall).

My daughter has owned this goalie chest protector for 6 years and says it is the most comfortable on the market today. She wore a different one for a year while we waited for the Unequal SEI certification and she said that it was nowhere near as comfortable as Unequal. When this one was approved we ordered right away and she is so happy now. From a parent perspective, I like that it has the additional hart pad for side impact as well. She is playing at the college level now and you never know when she could be turning and get a quick stick shot in the side. Highly, highly recommend this product for both mens and women’s lacrosse and youth through adult.
