one of my favorite hats. its warm, has good coverage and does not make make my head sweat. perfect for running, walking, hiking outside. the adjustable opening at the top is a great feature. I am adult by the way and this hat fits me perfectly.

We got this hat for our 3 year old grandson. It gets bitterly cold where we live so a good quality thick hat/cap is a must. This hat is made from a thin polar fleece. Defining this as 'polar' would mean bitterly cold. This thin fleece is not very warm. May be great for cooler spring/fall days, but not dead of winter here. The drawstring opening on the top is not a good idea. You can draw it somewhat tight, but it still has a small opening. Heat escapes and cold wind blows in. The tie strings on the ear flaps is a nice feature. The stitching seems strong. I just don't like the design concept and the thought process.

I got this in hopes that my 10 year old would have a thin layer to wear under her bike helmet, after she complained that her ears were cold. Like many of the other reviewers have already stated, it has a large hole at the top to cinch down that wasn't very clearly advertised. Because of this, it isn't comfortable to wear under her helmet, and she doesn't have any interest in wearing it otherwise. Her hair is not very long, so the opening on the top doesn't do much for her. The colors are nice and the construction is good. Of course, it got cold here for a few days and then it warmed back up, so I can't attest to how warm this keeps your head.

This hat was a godsend for the Arctic blast the U.S. experienced. I am so grateful for the drawstring opening at the crown. This can be used to adjust for head size or to accommodate up-do's. The ear flaps kept my grandson's ears protected. I wish it could have been a bit more thicker, but he seemed sheltered from the elements just fine.

I bought the Sukeen Kids Winter Beanie Hat for my child, and it has quickly become a favorite! This hat is not only adorable but also incredibly warm and functional for cold weather. The antistatic feature is a great addition, as it helps prevent that annoying static cling that can happen with winter wear. The polar fleece material is soft and comfortable, keeping my child’s head and ears warm without being too bulky. I love the earflap design, which provides extra coverage and protection against chilly winds. It fits snugly and stays in place, even during active play outside.

We liked this very fashionable hat. It's designed in the style of a Peruvian hat called a chullo. It got a lot of modern technology to keep the wearer's head warm in the coldest of environments. It's also got a feature we've never seen on chullo before- a drawstring opening on the top.My wife and I really pondered over that opening. The listing doesn't really say what it's for. Though it does say that this winter hat can accommodate almost any head size, we think that the drawstring has another purpose. Children who might have pigtails, ponytails, braids or other styles of natural hair, have an opening through which to thread their locks without having to muss it up. If that's the case, that's a brilliant innovation to a classic style of hat.

I got this hat for an upper-elementary child in my family, the same age that this hat is supposed to be for. According to the product listing, it's supposed to fit loosely. I haven't seen it on her yet, but I think it'll be really cute on her as long as it's not too loose. It's just a little too tight to be comfortable on me, and I have a big head.I got her this hat because it's cold up here and most hats don't really offer good ear protection from the wind. This one does, and the look is one that's popular with kids in her social group. I like that she can pop her ponytail out the top or pull the drawstring tight to keep cold wind from getting in. And I really like that it's light enough that she can shove it in her coat pocket with her gloves, so she has it when she needs it and won't lose it. I hope that the lightweight nylon and polar fleece will be enough to stop the wind and keep her head warm, but we'll find out about that.The one thing about this hat that I'm disappointed about is the color. Usually, when the listing shows the item in multiple colors, there's a place where you can choose which color you want. This listing doesn't have that option, but the hat shown larger than the others was her favorite shade of pale blue. The hat that arrived is kind of a khaki and grey. Maybe she'll like it, or maybe I'll have to find someone else to give it to.
