I wear this vest when I ride my horse in the Coachella Valley desert summer heat. It’s 90+ at 8 am but I’m able to ride this year.Last summer, I was not able to ride in the July and August heat. This year, with this vest, I have been able to ride through the summer! Last summer, without the vest, I overheated, got dizzy, and had to get off my horse before I fainted and fell off. Not this year! It’s hotter this year but I’m able to handle the heat better because of this vest.Just get it wet, wring it out, put it on, and ride. It dries out by the end of my ride (~45 minutes). Always drink plenty of water with electrolytes and find shade whenever you can.
