About this item

  • Great for someone that has more than one motorcycle and wants to save on price of tire changing. The 14.5 inch length allows for the leverage you need to get the tire on and off the rim. A rim protector of some kind is a nice addition.
  • The spoon end is perfectly shaped so they don't scratch your rims and the handles are good for the hands and stuffing under the brake rotor.
  • The tire iron toolset very good ,its made of heavy duty steel! The molded handles provide a secure grip and the chrome finish keeps them rust free.Very handy tools for changing tires. If you plan on changing tires & tubes yourself, these are a must have for your tool box!
  • These spoons were excellent for slowly working the bead down and for getting decent grip on the lip of the tires. They don't have an aggressive bend so they were easy to slip between the tire and the rim lip. The edges were completely smooth with no sharp burrs.
  • Package include the 3 pieces of 14.5" Spoon levers and 2 rim protector. Changing a tire often requires more than one tire iron, so package includes three Tire Irons, and you can leave one as backup. These tools are perfect for motorcycle/bike tire changes. These worked great, much better than a screwdriver like I used to use.

I'm one of those people who likes micro-mobility and I have several small electric bikes and scooters. Whether it is to make the ride more comfortable or just to be cheap, I'm not sure, it is common to use small diameter wide pneumatic tube tires. This is a terrible idea because those tires are just not designed for regular use at moderate speeds by adult riders. The tires go flat and break all the time and the plastic tire pry that comes in the bicycle flat repair kits will not cut it. These make it easy.I'm so sick of flats that I've started moving over to airless tires. The only reason I do not like these tires is that they're difficult initially to get on the rim. You still have to work a little with these, but at least you've got the right leverage. Having them takes out most of the frustration of using solid tires. I'm certain I can replace any scooter tire with these.

Used today to put a tube in my mower tyre. Really good quality.

I used these to put pneumatic tires on a wheelchair rim and these were a life saver. One draw back is the "spoon" part is just a little too thick. I think it would have been easier to use had it been a little thinner so I could slide it under the tire and the lip of the rim and snap the tire under the rim better. It took me about 3 hours to put on two tires. It wasn't easy, but these made it a 1000 percent easier. They are pretty sturdy. The way I was tugging and pushing and shoving them around, they stood the test. I'm very pleased and do recommend them if you take on the task of changing wheelchair tires yourself. I also wish there had been some sort of instructions for what all the pieces in the package were for as I didn't know what the little plastic things with the ropes were to be used for. Maybe had I known the job would have been even easier.

They are actual 14.5 inches from handle to end of spoons. Could of done it with screw drivers but not as smooth as these. Again watch videos online on how to and understanding drop steps. These tools make it as easy as possible. Good construction- they did not bend or flex too much when prying the beads over. The thin parts of the shank is key getting under the tire and using leverage to get it over. The protectors I didn’t really care for. They made it harder to install in some instances.Only wish I ordered w case but otherwise A1- should of bought this before.

I bought these for my bike and small electric vehicles that use tubeless tires. They are a bit of an over kill for regular bike tires, but very nice to use. On smaller tubeless tires they are super. These small tires can be quite tough with heavy sidewalls relative to their size and the small diameter having less stretch. Worked wonderfully and having 3 made removal easier, while I found that two were sufficient for mounting. I doubt I'll ever need to use them on a car tire, but they seem tough enough. The ends are nicely shaped and polished, and with the rim protectors I was able to do a painted wheel without scratching it. I thought the protectors were not going to be useful, but even on a small tire, I was able to use them effectively, although their curve is better suited to larger wheels.

These worked, the rim protectors are just Meh. At first look I noticed the handles are too thick to use the PVC pipe I have if I needed more leverage. However the handles give such a better grip that I did not need to use my PVC pipe. Also the plastic handles protect the underside of the brake disk from scratches better than just metal spoons. The chrome finish may not last I recommend using a type of slime lube with these over just Window cleaner or powders.
