First of all the one I ordered clearly said complete kit battery included. When it arrived the box looked like it had already been opened. The box was clearly marked complete kit battery included. Opened box and no battery had to order it separate. Evidently at some point box was opened and battery was removed. First time I used it to turn up dirt in chicken coop that I regularly turn by hand the unit started pouring out smoke and making horrible burning smell. 30 minutes later it was still smoking. This was after 5 minutes of use in regularly turned sandy dirt!! It is sitting outside away from anything it can catch on fire due to still smoking. Would not dare store it anywhere inside tonight. Do not buy this brand. I very rarely write reviews but this product is dangerous . I should have returned when it arrived in a box in a questionable condition with the battery missing.

Never used 1 of these, but lightweight enough for ease of use. FL soil can be made more fertile when mixed up with great potting soil & other secret ingredients. Great addition to my gardening tools!

There is no dislikes to this I Love this thing! I love that the blades are removable and quickly if weeds get raped around it to remove them with just a pull of the pin. Dug deep worked soil great used it in my flower bed! Doesn’t come with battery but had one that came with snow blower so didn’t have to buy one even so would have still bought it and added a battery. Getting to old to hoe this is what you need!

This garden Tiller/Cultivator works as advertised. Attached is a patch of ground I had to clear from grass to plant new grass. The best way was to cut the grass short as possible then run tiller through the grass. It worked fine in this south central Virginia clay soil. It bounced over big rocks which I would take out with a small shovel. Overall it saved me renting a mantis tiller and having only tilled ground. For the price of a rental to do this I would have paid for half the sun Joe battery powered Tiller/Cultivator. I have used this all over my property and now I am already more than satisfied with the cost of this item. You have to pay attention to when it's binding with too much grass wrapping on the insides of tines. You have to take them off and remove grass that winds up on shafts between tines and case. A good purchase.

I love this little cultivator. At first glance it dosentLook like much. But using it today. I’m very impressed on how wellIt works. Much easier than a shovel and it dose go 4 inches into the soil. A must for anyone who has a garden every year. And for 100$. It’s a steal

Over all this is a great portal light duty electric cultivator. I used it few times so far and have the following observations: it uses the same 24-volt battery as the snow joe snow shovel or blower. the cultivator works best on soil that's lightly damp and without much growing grass or tree roots. when the soil is too damp, the wheels have to be cleaned every few minutes. when the soil is too dry then it is difficult for this cultivator to break the soil. when there are grass or tree roots, they would wrap around the wheels and reducing its effectiveness. I wish a scrap tool is included and somehow stored on the cultivator so it can be used to clean the stuck dirt and grass. the helping handle, the black on, can change position under pressure. still it works a lot faster than using a shovel or hoe, definitely going to save your back.

This is so easy to use - only had one issue at assembly that I didn't see, there is a cap inside the shaft that HAS TO BE REMOVED BEFORE THE TWO PEICES WILL CLICK TOGETHER. They really don't need this cap. After removing the cap with a needle nose plier, inside on the side of cap was a red tape (you could NOT see) that said to remove, lol also, don't forget you have to buy the battery and charger seperatelyThis is replacing a larger gas tiller my dad gave me, but it is almost impossible to start so I thought I would try a battery starting tiller/cultivator. IT IS AMAZING IN MY RAISED BED GARDEN, IT TEARS IT UP WONDERFULLY, but it doesn't go that good in wet grass clipping - bogs down but run it out of the grass and it clears itself. I LOVE LOVE IT! (sorry Dad) AND BEWARE- IT COMES WITH NO BATTERY CHARGER :-(
