  • Our solar covers will raise water temperature up to 15 degrees fahrenheit!

  • Blue solar covers are effective in trapping heat and conserving chemicals. When pool water is properly balanced their color resists fading.

  • Solar covers are made of thermal bubbles that capture the sun's UV rays to create and retain heat naturally. It is important to the bubble side down into the water to work effectively.

  • Our solar covers allow for trimming to ensure a perfect fit whether your pool is round, oval, rectangular or even a unique shape!

  • Our solar covers will fit most solar reels. While a reel isn’t required for a solar cover, it makes removal and positioning easier.

This product started falling apart after about 6 months of use. It was the 800 series. Great customer service. They honored the warranty without any issues. I would recommend the upgraded cover 1200 or 1600 series. Get it from the same company. Product fail...good customer service goes a long way. I will purchase from them in the future.

For as cheaply made as this pool cover is, it works really well - we are done spending 5 - $600 a year for the expensive covers that don't last in the desert summers more than 1 - 2 years ... this pool cover has made the pool much warmer and it's super light and easy to deal with - it has already ripped but that's to be expected with something so thin - we will be buying this cover again

This is my 2nd Pool Solar cover. It lasted 5 years and started to fall apart. So I bought another one. Between the sun and the chlorine of the pool, it takes a beating. I also have the roll up device for this cover. You simply take the solar cover and place on top of your pool (bubbles down) and cut it to the shape of your pool so it lies directly on the water. I have the one end attached to my roll up device and it's so each to roll it up and pull it back out. I usually put it away with tarps and bungee cords for the winter to keep it nice. I'll put my new one together spring of 2024. It really makes your swimming season longer. I live in Concord, CA so it gets pretty hot here. 90s and 100s all summer. With the solar cover on my pool is like a bath tub...89 to 96 degrees.

I have used solar covers for years. And this company makes good ones. I have found that they don't last (like most people) and I'm okay with that. Against the cost of an automatic cover it's a no brainer. I use the trouble free pool method so I keep my chlorine levels higher. No algae and trouble-free clear water yes, but solar covers lasting that long no.I have bought a 1600 and 1200. They both last me a year and then maybe half. Then they start falling apart and the plastic pieces are everywhere. So I adopted a new strategy. I'll replace them every year. They never fall apart and I never have to worry about drying/storing for the winter. Use it and toss. So this year I went one step farther and decided that as long as it was one year and toss, I'd buy the cheapest one.Uh....no. As soon as I opened it, I could tell it was noticeably thinner than the others. But who cares...only a year. I opened my pool April 25 and it went on that day. August 17 and it's ripping (which no other cover had before this) and the bubbles are disintegrating at an unbelievable rate. It didn't make it a year. Now I just ordered the 1600 in the hope that it will last the rest of this year and next, which I think it will.I live in an area with very high winds, and in the past as long as I threw a couple of used chlorine bottles a quarter full of water on the cover, it didn't go anywhere. This one is so light if the jets were pointed up it was pushed to the middle. In the wind I have to pull it over the edge and hold it down with cinder blocks. I have never had to put bottles on the reel side. This year I have three or four bottles on the reel side as well to hold it down against the wind.Great solar covers, just steer clear of the 800.

Short version: cover was terrible but company credited me toward the thicker/better one.Long version: I'd always bought the 1200 series and tried to squeeze a second season out of it. This year, I decided to just spend a little less and just get one season (because I was usually getting blue flaking off the cover and into the pool by the end of the life of the other); it would be more expensive in the long run, but easier (I figured). When the 800 series came, I was surprised at how much thinner and flimsier it felt. It was actually hard to get on the pool, behaving like Saran Wrap. Rolling it up to uncover the pool for use was really hard... just too flimsy. Still, I figured, it's preventing evaporation and warming the pool just as effectively. But after only 7 weeks, it was sinking; virtually all of the bubbles had cracked. It really behaved like Saran Wrap, and it was impossible to roll it up. It could not be left on the pool; it was 1-2 feet under the surface in several places. To the company's credit, I sent in pictures and within two hours had a response that I could either get a free replacement or pay up the difference to the 1200 series. I paid up the difference. Soooo...save yourself the trouble and get the 1200 (or better) series right of the bat. The 800 series simply did not hold up, but credit the company for making it right.

We ordered the 16 by 24 and it works perfectly. We have not cut it yet to fit but we will once our reel arrives. We received the package very quickly, faster than they said initially, only waited 2-3 days. It arrived nicely packaged and my husband had no problem opening and laying it out on the pool himself. I wasn’t even home. So far so good. We are going to test for temperatures over next two weeks. We’re in Florida and weather now is full sun, 80’s over the next 10 ten days so we will see. Currently were at 75 with no heater. I will update this post. As far as quality, I see nothing wrong with it other than it is thin, but no thinner than what I expected. I do wish I went with the 12 mil though, only because it says it heats it up much more. I didn’t do enough reading. We will see! Good luck!

Very light weight..we live in a windy climate and it blew all over the place, ripped around grommets and strap holds. Also not that great at warming pool unless outdoor temp were in excess of 100. Hopefully it helped wit evaporation when it managed to be on the water. It was cheap, you get what you pay for. One plus, it was very easy to handle being so light weight. I've had packaging material thicker than this.
