The bolt may be great, unfortunately the seller failed to deliver it.

I purchased the 19mm size to replace the binder bolt on my Jamis Renegade. It fits perfectly and has worked very well for the three weeks I have used it. I remove the saddle to put the bike in my car a few times each week, so the binder bolt gets loosened and tightened often.

Excellent product for a Schwinn Le Tour from the 1980s. The seat post kept on slipping as I was never able to get the clamp tight enough with a quick release lever, so using this seat binder bolt is perfect!

I purchased this item in hopes that I would receive 5 bolts instead of 1 so that I would have spare parts. One of the top reviews states (with picture proof) that we would would be receiving 5 bolts for the given price.I immediately disregarded all other possible choices on Amazon and went with this item.I'm giving it 4 stars because there isn't anything wrong with the product (I have not actually tested the quality yet. Will update rating if it lacks in quality.)I should've expected the outcome to be what the description specifically states, and not base my purchase off of another's fortunate experience. It is not the seller's fault, but my own due to merely expecting the same outcome of a customer back in March of 2020.Hopefully this review prevents future customers from expecting more than the description provides, and also from immediately rating this product one-star out of disappointment from quantity rather than rating based on quality. It doesn't state anywhere in the description that we would receive more than 1.That said, the price IS somewhat steep for only 1 bolt, but it can be pretty difficult to find this product elsewhere.TLDR:- Nothing wrong with quality.- Base your purchases off of the description, not other customers.- It's much better to be surprised with 5 bolts with the intention of purchasing one, than having it the other way around.

Item was as advertised and a great replacement for the rusted one on my vintage bike.

This is just as pictured. Hex head on the fixed end with key for restraining rotation on the fixed end. The fixed end also has a slight shoulder or enlarged diameter for the first 1/4". The other end is a simple hex nut. Installation only requires wrenching the other end. The fixed end is engaged and restrained by the key under the fixed hex head. This is a perfect solution for any cheaper bike with a clamp ring already fixed to the bike and a key slot in the clamp opening. It will open to fit 36mm clamp span or close as tight as 17mm clamp span.I contacted the seller about the other reviewer's comment that there is no shoulder and having to restrain both hex ends while installing. The seller indicated that such a bolt is available but it is not the one you get with this item. Perhaps the prior reviewer was accidentally supplied with the other style?

This is an awesome keyed Allan-headed seatpost binder bolt. It is well made and the chrome plating is bright and doesn't chip.Pros:* Very low price and high value.* Keyed notch fits into the keyed hole in your seatpost binder so that you only need one Allan key to loosen/tighten this binder.* Good chrome doesn't seem to chip or flake and is nice and bright without any serious flaws like some cheaper chrome-plated parts.* Somewhat more secure, but anyone with an Allen key wrench can still take your seat.* Strong and doesn't seem to strip or bend even when tightened very securely. You don't have to worry about stripping this bolt or bending/stretching it as long as you don't go berserk on this fastener.Cons:*Very limited usable size. Be sure to measure your seat binder lug to make sure this fits: 19mm to about 22mm is about all you can get this bolt to fit.*Not 100% secure or as safe as an specifically-keyed tamper-proof binder bolt.
