So probably unlike the other people reviewing, I actually bought this for my tortoise. I flipped it on its side & used it for his enclosure. It's great. It was one of the cheapest ones for the size, and it was the perfect size for my room. It took about 5 or 10 minutes to assemble, and couldn't have been easier. There's no creaking, and the material is strong and durable. It performs great as a tortoise house, however I have no clue what it's like for an actual grow tent. Overall extremely happy to buy this, and should I ever get another tortoise I will get another one of these.

I was SO looking forward to this item, you have no idea!Box was a bit on the heavy side (Plus 1 Star for this!)The tube is made out of thin aluminum foil. Seriously! If you hold the tube just right, your pinky with poke a hole through it! When taking the tube out of the inner box, it is like one of those Magician's Kerchiefs (or an oversized Slinky) - it does not want to come out until it expands all 8 feet! The tube should of had some sort of zip tie or even string from the inside around the walls to keep this from happening! Use this tube as a backup and buy a GOOD one - it will save your many headaches! I'm afraid that if the tube is stretched out at any length, the forced air alone may cause some blow outs at some point. You will also either need to cut this tube into two halves for your install or order a second tube for the opposite side of the fan. (-2 Stars)The fan does move a lot of air (as long as there is no blockage or anything on the inlet side. The fan does not have INLET / OUTLET arrows on the molding itself, so make sure you look at the pamphlet included to verify which direction. I plugged it in to re-verify just to make sure! Once you figure out which direction the air flow goes, the mount included (which does have arrows) allows you to insert the fan into the feet, snapping the fan in place - but it then hides the air flow direction if you are the type like just likes to see the arrows after it is installed (print out a nice sticker and place it on the outer housing.) The fan itself can be purchased for $25 here on Amazon, so hold that thought a moment. (+1 Star)The filter is heavy and beefy as well! There are also some white "socks" that go over the outside to help keep dust from getting sucked into the filter if you use the filter as an INLET prior to the fan (this helps protect the inexpensive fan from getting all clogged up and helps it last longer). The filter can also be purchased here on Amazon for under $30 - so add that to the price above. (+0 Stars - well +1 and -1 so Zero)The clamps are also cheap, not to mention they are folded (compressed into an oval inside the tube), so they really don't grip the "holes" of the band themselves and you have to use your third hand to help tighten them down around the hose ends. (-1 Star)All-in-all : I'd say for the price of this item, save your money and buy the items separately - and get a better tube for your install. (-1 Star for the price)

The 1.5-inch thick layer of low-density virgin carbon does a fantastic job of scrubbing odors, leaving the air fresh and clean. It effectively eliminates unwanted smells, making it ideal for indoor gardening or any space that needs superior air purification. The filter’s design is impressive. The machine-packed carbon ensures even distribution and durability, while the 53% open area mesh maximizes airflow without compromising on filtration. I noticed no drop in air circulation even when connected to my ducting system. What I really appreciate is its versatility. I’ve used it in my grow tent, but it’s also suitable for greenhouses and basements. Setup was straightforward, and it easily connected to my existing ventilation system. The filter has a robust build, and I’m confident it will last for several cycles. If you’re looking for an efficient and durable carbon air filter, I highly recommend the SunStream 10-Inch. It’s well-designed, performs excellently, and provides a noticeable improvement in air quality.

This product is ok, but definitely not competitive with other similar and even same products online. There are better products on Amazon that are not as expensive. The line is literally the same type of lining they use for a household dryer vent. They do not hold up too much movement after the initial placement. The positive about this particular setup is the size and filter. The filter is a decent filter. Outside of that it is just not impressive.

Works the same as any other filter I’ve used, scrubs all the smell as it should . Would we definitely buy again when it’s times up to do so. I was a little sceptical after reading a few of the customer reviews being very negative.. good filter, good quality, and a good price. Thumbs up for me.People need to stop leaving bad reviews on good products just trying to get some thing for nothing in my opinion and ruin it for many others.
