Worn on the shovel hand for a full season of ontario treeplanting, comfortable and held up better than expected! (stitch ripped at the end of the index finger, exposing gel. still functional)SIGNIFICANTLY reduced shock and tendonitis from dinging rock cap and planting in hard clay.Would highly recommend for other planters and will order again.

Arthritis makes me very sensitive to vibration and impact in my hands which limits my bicycling time. Having tried every bicycle glove I could find without success I tried these and had instant success. Heavy weight leather over excellent padding delivers hours of relief and have held up very well over three years and 10,000 miles. At this price a real bargain, I have paid much more for cycling gloves that are no help at all.

I can't speak to longevity I haven't had them that long. Other than that I must say that I was quite impressed. The workmanship is very good with lots of padding. Also I like the the idea of the small tabs on the palm side of the gloves to aid in removing them.

Ordered these specifically for my push mower, the bars to engage and extra power are too hard on my hands. The gloves fit well, I ordered medium. Easy to get on and off. Does give more cushion to my hand and lessens the vibrations.

The gloves feel well made and the gel padding does help with vibrations. However, the sizing guide is too small. According to the sizing guide I should be a medium, but I usually take a large or extra large. I purchased a pair of large gloves and they just fit. It's because of that and the fact I haven't had much of a chance to use them that I am giving them three stars.

My hands would tingle for an hour after weed whacking. That can't be good for you. These gloves work wonders. You still have dexterity to control the machine but enough isolation as to stop the tingling. They do add enough bulk that other activities (like filling the unit with gas) become more difficult without removing them. But, they even have fun little tabs on the end of the fingers for you to grab to pull the gloves off.

Nice gloves. They fit small, so buy the next size up. Had to return my first order, but return and new product delivery was excellent time wise and quality wise.

I ordered the "Large" size based on experience with other brands of gloves owned in the past, and on a size chart. However, although labeled "large", the pair I received were WAY too tight for my taste (and, yes, with velcro loosened). Also, they did not cover enough of my fingers to isolate vibrations, covering only from the first to the second knuckle, leaving the next weight-bearing (middle) segment of my fingers exposed to vibrations from the handle/grip of the machine.I did not keep these in hopes of them loosening up, but rather immediately returned them and bought the better-fitting X-large ones which left only the non-weight-supporting tips of my fingers exposed (looking more like the hand coverage shown in the product photo). They are working well.

These gloves tend to run small. Perhaps they stretch as they are used. The gloves are comfortable and appear well made. A lot of padding where you need it in the palm area.I have large hands (long fingers) but not big stumpy workman type "paws", but I needed XL. My petite wife actually decided to keep my first pair, which were a Large, because that fits her.I know that after a short time using my new Bosch 6" 2 speed orbital sander I had cramping in my hands for days. I'm 64 YOA, but hopefully these gloves will help with that.

First off, I purchased these mostly for work with a sander, router, and other tools that can generate painful vibrations. They have worked fine in my few weeks of use, appearing very sturdy, with thick leather, more than ample gel padding (a good thing), and solid stitching. Thus far I have only used them when sanding drywall and they have impressed me with their dampening of the vibration. They don't eliminate it entirely, but they do what they claim to do, extending the time I can work. I still get some pain, but it is night and day difference, really. That they are open fingered gives one the dexterity lacking in full finger gloves.I like them so much I am thinking of using them for cycling gloves to replace a pair of well worn, old Sorbothane cycling gloves. Perhaps too much padding, but I will try to report back after some use.Just know that they are slightly undersized, with the large pair a somewhat tight fit for my large size hands. Nothing excessive, really, just a little snug and not too tight to make me return them for the larger size (if available). I have updated (25 October) my review to note that the leather has stretched with use to fit fine now, so smaller may be better in this regard. They seem to include extensions of the leather palms on the two middle fingers for removing the gloves from the hands, a nice touch.Definitely recommended.Follow up from a few years of use bicycling, June 2017. These are the best cycling gloves I have yet to find, other than the old Sorbothane gloves from 20-30 years ago. Unfortunately the Sorbothane gloves are no longer made, so I have gone through multiple gel, non-gel, and even unpadded bicycle gloves. Some pricey ones and the gel either quickly wears to nothing, or is not in the right places to prevent numbing. The Superior gloves are thickly padded, much more so than normal bicycle gloves. The padding covers the palms nearly completely throughout the tough goatskin. The stitching is solid, and the back, while not sweat absorbing, breathes well. I have hand washed them using dish soap, followed by Obenauf's leather treatment (also highly recommended), as they tend to reek after my near daily 40 mile round trip commute, much like all gloves.Only minor thing with bicycling is that they are still a little tight initially, and tend to cause pain in the webs of my fingers. A few days of use and they stretch out to comfort, much like a Brooks saddle.I will buy no other gloves, they are that good.Update from October 2019:Still using my original pair along with several more pairs I rotate through on a daily basis. Since I use them for daily bicycle commuting, they tend to get a bit odiferous rather quickly, thus the rotation. The original pair still work as designed, albeit with the thinning of the padding. Just enough that I can feel some reduction in dampening, but not enough to toss them just yet.I cut the Velcro portion off of each glove since I found it to catch on things and it makes it easier to take the gloves off.I have resorted to machine washing on delicate cycle with warm water, along with my usual cycling garb. Warm water seems to help with odor removal for both gloves and clothing, ignoring the clothing manufacturer recommendations of cold water. Then I set them outside to dry in the sun for 1-2 days. I have applied Obenauf's leather treatment about twice to each glove and they still come through the wash soft, not at all stiff. Something to the goatskin?Still highly recommended but still suggest ordering up a size.
