This is NOT a hook and loop pad. It does not have the "velcro" adhesion system on it, so I assume you have to glue the sandpaper disks to it. Anybody who knows how to use these things will know how completely ridiculous it would be to have to re-glue a new disk on every few sandings. Unless I'm missing something, this is a completely useless purchase.

I"m sure they are great if you glue you sanding disks on. I had wanted to order the ones with the hook and loop backing. they should make the description clearer.

I got this for a Mikita sander because I had read the hole pattern are the same. It is but I had to modify it to make it work by inlarging the center hole with a hole saw bit and drill press. Works like a charm although I would just order the right one next time.
