Easy installation and my truck rides way smoother. Super happy with my purchase.

Many people think these are the answer to poor truck springs and expect these to solve all of their issues. Fact is that they shouldn’t “lift” your truck or “increase payload”.These are easy to install with some patience, took me about an hour. I did NOT use the 1” spacer. When installed they do NOT touch the axel with 1/2” of space. My ride has not been bumpy or rough. These have GREATLY improved all aspects of towing. 3” less of sag when our TT is connected. Well worth the money. Would buy again

Really improved my ride.I carry a large flatbed tool box full of junk and my ride is less bouncy and a bit stiffer. A little bit of a pain doing up mounting bracket but worth the improvement. So far so good.

Installed these on a Ram 1500. They work very well, keep the truck from squatting so much when towing. Installation was simple. As others have said, there is one bolt that is difficult to reach. If you have a crows foot wrench, then you won't have any trouble.

Stock: 5” rear end sag with my 7,000lbs trailerSuper Spring: 2” sag with my 7,000lbs trailerThis product gets 5 stars because it does EXACTLY what I wanted it to do; ride like stock until I’m towing, then stiffen up the ride and truck sag and sway.HOWEVER, I initially included the optional 1” spacer in and it sat directly on the axel without a load. This made the ride qualify HORRIBLE because the stock suspension was being bypassed completely and only riding on the Super Spring. Once I removed the optional 1” spacer and reinstalled it came off the axel and back to stock ride quality!

Bought these to upgrade the rubber bumpers while I raised and upgraded coil springs. Very easy to install when you already have the springs out of the way.

Buyer beware! I had these installed ,without the extension, to my 2021 Ram 1500. I was told the spring would not make contact with the plate on the axle until a load was put on the truck. NOT THE CASE. The spring makes contact with no load on the truck. My smooth riding Ram now rides stiff and I feel every little bump in the road.On the plus side, they did take most of the bounce out of the ride when pulling my camper. They also helped with the camper swaying in windy conditions. If I had it to do over, I would put airbags on my truck. It cost me $200 to have these installed and another $200? to have them removed. I could have had the airbags installed for about $600 and still have my smoothe ride when not towing my camper.

Easy install and performance is a little too good. I have a Ram 1500 and purchased the 1500 springs. I tow two larger trailers, one weighs normally 5 ton, the other 3 ton. When towing the springs work very well, it actually raised the backend a good three inches so I had to get a larger drop hitch for one trailer. The issue is when I’m “NOT” towing. I used to own a limo company and this truck rides better than my 110 inch stretch Cadillac with air assist suspension. Now with the 1500 lb spring I’ve lost some of that comfort. I should have purchased the 1000 lb springs instead.

I bought these to help with the squat I had on my 2021 Ram 1500 when pulling my 28.5' travel trailer. They helped tremendously! I was concern that the ride would be to harsh when not pulling my trailer, but it wasn't. Installation was easy, although it took a little over an hour. One thing I noticed after I installed them was that there seemed to be less sway as well. The truck just seemed more stable. You really can't go wrong with Sumo Springs.

Work pretty good, they make your truck a bit rugged in the bush but all in all a good choice I think.

These were suggested to me by a shop instead of airbags and their requisite maintenance and cost. I went with them and am extremely pleased at the result. These did exactly as described and better than I expected. Will put them in any other truck I get too.

If you drive a Ram 1500 with coil springs and plan on hooking up a trailer with any kind of weight, these are a must. I love the Ram 1500 for how it drives without a load as a daily driver, but I do tow occasionally. By that I mean I tow a dump trailer(3-4 yards of mulch or stone) or a car trailer from time to time, with about 2-3 Tons of weight on there. My truck measures: Standing empty : 39", with a load it squatted it to 36". I have a 2013 Laramie which may have less clearance in the rear than others, but I did not use the 1" spacer since these almost touched the axle without it. After these were installed, i hooked up the same trailer loaded and they kept my truck at 37 1/2", and drove like you weren't even towing anything. I purposefully went down a bumpy windy road and there was no trailer sway and bumps were softened and dampened instantly. Here is a trick for installation since it is very tight and took about an hour and a half. Jack the truck up, secure it, and put the top brackets on with all the washers and nuts on the bolts. Once you get all the nuts on hand tightened, use a small socket wrench and a 1/2 " socket and tighten each nut about half way from the passenger side outside through the spring Driver side just under the truck, and spin the entire unit to tighten the next nut. Remember which one you started with as there is a specific way these go so they hit the axle properly. Once you get all 8 half tightened, you should be able to reach more than half of them with that same socket wrench. On the drivers side, there were two I had to use a small wrench and tighten a quarter turn each attempt, and those were a bit frustrating. But the Passenger side, I was able to reach them all with a small socket wrench, and there were two that I used a large socket wrench and an extension to get the wrench over the muffler. Overall it wasn't hard, just be patient. I will recheck in a week to make sure everything is still tight, but these things sandwich that jounce mount quite well. Overall I am very happy with the product.UPDATE: I have had these for a few months, and just towed a car from OH. Thanks to the SumoSprings, the trip was amazing with a trailer and a charger on that trailer. No sway no matter how bumpy the road, no major sag, and the truck sat level. These are so worth the money.
