I recently scored a new short board and wanted to protect the tip and tail. I ordered the diamond tip and tail guard in clear, and they went on fine and look good. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!"UPDATE: I have a stick sock and a flat bag for my board and the soft tip catches in the bags. I didn't realize Surfco makes a Super Slick model just to help prevent that. I ordered one of those and I'm going to try to use the soft tip on another board.
