I love that it comes all together and I didn't have to stop at 3 stores to get it myself. I used the bucket tek pasteurization method and it worked great!

Overall it is good for starters, but watch some YouTube videos just to make sure. For me the amount of water in instruction was a bit more than it needed.

Had I seen the amount provided, I would have just stuck to the CVG recipe and purchased ingredients individually. At best, this will do 3 6qt shoe box tubs. Way too expensive. Returning this and I just purchased on Amazon 5lbs of gypsum, 10Lbs of Coir, and 30 QTs vermiculite for under $85. Thats over 10x the amount provided in this kit.

You receive the basic for a substrate mix . Just mix and sterilize and your on your way . Takes guessing out of the picture .

I was very happy with the kit. It arrived early and is very affordable and is working out well for me. I was able to make 2 12 quart tubs with the kit. My only complaint is that the recommended water amount was way to much . Will definitely be purchasing this again soon.

Unfortunately, the directions I followed on the packet that came with the box left the substrate extremely wet. I didn't feel like squeezing all the excess water from it to get it to the proper field capacity, so I threw all of it in my garden. What a waste. I should have just followed Philly Golden Teacher's CVG recipe instead of trying this garbage. Will not be buying any of their products again.
