My daughter is a Pre Veterinarian student and was taking her clinical course and one of the testing requirements was to pass a stitch the instructor gave you to preform. My daughter passed with ease by being able to practice on this. Now she did say it was much easier to do the strict on actual skin but this skill pad did help her.

I got this suture pad for my nursing students to practice the skill of suture removal and staple removal. It works very well for this skills, as well, as I learned a new skill myself on how to suture so my students could remove them!

Was looking for practice skin that I could have for a while. After trying it it seems easy to slice trough the skin while tightening a tie. Not ideal.

It worked well with the sutures I have, several layers of tissue are visible, well structured and it doesnt fall apart it can be reused.
